A bit odd they'd trot out the season pass while not showing any part of it besides the silhouette image we've known of forever. I'm glad they reconfirmed that the costumes are also available to purchase in-game with fight money.
The theme/avatars would have to be really good for me to consider the season pass right now. As long as it's not too intense a grind, I think I'll be happy with just using my fight money to unlock the content, as long as you can get the costumes as well.

Yeah, this is actually quite incredible, the fact that people guessed the 6 DLC characters correctly despite partly interpreting the teaser pics wrong. What are the odds?
I'd definitely be happy to eat my previous words on the DLC order if Alex ends up being first instead of last though!
And to briefly comment on F.A.N.G. and the new stage: I like his fighting style and overal look but his unnaturally narrow head does make it seem as if he belongs in a different game somehow, art wise. Maybe that's just something I'll have to get used to.
I do instantly like the new stage very much though and it also helps to "prove" that we're still on track to seeing all the art in the background of the official character art work translated into a stage (this new stage being found Bison's art). F.A.N.G.'s art does show a different background, something like a round temple, so he'll probably end up getting his own stage as well. That would leave 1 stage for him, 1 for Rashid (the night time airport/Dubai stage that we saw teased) and 1 for Necalli, making it 12 in total if you include the training stage if I'm not miscounting.
By "grind" do you mean "playing the game"? What an awful, terrible fate. This would have NEVER happened with classic fighting games. They would have NEVER forced you to play the game for hours to unlock characters. Nope, that was never a thing...

With that robe having a illuminati symbol on it, I'm guessing something happens to balrog and joins them for some reason. Balrog may be q, but that's the long shot of fan fiction guessing. But I'm not against it lol
To be fair that symbol was just speculation of being associated with the Illuminati, it's not actually the Illuminati symbol in the SF verse.

I would have liked to see a huge revamp for his character..
Imagine if he couldnt jump, but they gave him top tier normals and antiairs. He has only 2-3 hit combos but does good damage, and has top tier vitality. Also very slow move speed and worst dash in the game.
His only means of jumping could be the sumo splash special, and make it his v-trigger.
So basically he has to build a wall and keep the opponent from backing him into a corner because he can get fucked, but he has excellent defensive tools to hold off attackers.

Yes and it causes a hard knockdown.
So Shadolo has Balrog statue and he isn't even in the initial roster. If I had to guess then I reckon he is the first DLC character after all he is the main man for fight money. They want 6 characters this year this is my guess

I'm sorry, but Balrog being first because of 'Fight Money' is not a good reason at all. How the fuck does that give him priority to be the first DLC character released? It's just silly to think that.

Pretty much, it's not like everyone is going to be getting Balrog anyway. It's not like there's a shortage of SF2 characters that we need another one immediately either.

I'd have to agree with that second part. Balrog being one of the four major villains of the game might push him up though.
Anything's possible I guess, but saying that Fight Money will make Capcom release him first is laughable tbh

True haha. I think you can make an argument for Balrog, Alex, or Urien being first, but the release order is too random for it to not be it.
Which is weird if we have to wait that long for Urien.
It'll make season for him to come at the end then, the end of season 1 to close it out. I feel like they'll be extending the story with each character added. Not clear at all.
In all seriousness I honestly have no idea what'll happen but I'd die if I saw Alex tomorrow.

I think Alex and Urien will definitely come out first, they haven't been in a SF game forever while the rest on the list are returnees from SF4..
They already said that it will be one character every 2 months for the first year.
