Based on... what? You know the dlc is adding a 3rd grappler. I don't think type means shit in the land of DLC. Now if the argument was, is he desired. That's another conversation.
Hes got elements of it (the tackle, the wheel kick) and he's also part shoto, its a doublewhammy of archetypes they dont need more of in the game. Laura's essentially a fixed Sean in terms of evoking that archetype.
They have given the wheel kick to Sean, Abel, and Laura. Passing it down isnt an accident.
I want Sean and I know plenty of other people do.
So that means he shouldn't be DLC? Even though Alex, out THIRD grappler, is DLC? You know you can just say you don't like Sean, it's fine.
Its not about the character archetype, its about representation of that style- Laura does a better job of it with a cleaner moveset design thats much more evocative.
Pro wrestling has multiple styles and elements -its split among a number of characters. It doesnt have the same diminishing returns.

Im not just saying this because I'm a hater- I just think hes highly unlikely due to his hybrid moveset and his sister already being in the game.
So what I'm gathering from the opening is...
- Ken joins Interpol to help Chun-Li & Cammy fight Bison.
- Rashid has business with F.A.N.G, likely because F.A.N.G orchestrated the kidnapping of Rashid's friend.
- Ryu is locked in a rivalry with Necalli, likely because of a connection involving the Satsui no Hadou.

Calling it now, there's a story beat where Necalli activates his V-trigger and uses his new intelligence to have a villain speech with Ryu about studying fists.
Well to me those are both reasons for his inclusion. I'm just going to leave it at that.
This all sounds pretty interesting. I'm liking the plot of SFV a lot more than 4's.
Actually, Necalli was teased to be a genius with V-Trigger activated early on.
That's why he said, " Necalli activates his V-trigger and uses his new intelligence ".. also it wasn't teased Combofiend's post out right says it.
I hope Zen becomes real. AAll the dreams/hopes we had for an awesome stand user or boxer or w/e need to live on. I know it was probably referring to Zenny, btw.

If we get two female returnees a year we're looking at Rose, Sakura, Poison, Elena, Makoto. (Viper seems unlikely as her moveset/style goes against what weve seen of SFV so far) So year 3 or 4?
2 new 6 returns for S2 would be perfect.

As for the Shadaloo stage, this is Bison's wallpaper, and the statue/globe/hexagonal patter seem to me the same you can find here.
Zen was most likely an early name for FANG.

It might just be me...but I think it's the mostly characters with blonde hair who have the terrible looking hair. All of the people with dark hair look awesome, so I'm not worried about Ibuki.
Even tho he looks much better than SF4? Even tho everyone else's redesigns have been on point? But ya, Capcom ruining everything.
As someone who loves Juri with a passion I'm actually excited to see the new her. My only hope is that they change the hair, I don't like the bullhorns but that doesn't stop me from loving her design. I personally don't care for Alex and Urien but I am interested in seeing the new them.

Everybody has different hair so far in DLC outfits which makes me hope they'll do tons of different looks for the game.
I don't mind the rest of Ken's redesign, but the face and the hair are awful ... He looks wrong. He needs to look like 3D rendered Third Strike art...
I have little faith they'll update Ibuki in a manner I like .. But I'd be happy to be wrong if it means they update Ibuki's design in a method that doesn't ruin her...

Pretty sure costumes are zenny only, so you have to buy them with real money.
It is her top that needs to be changed; mainly the impossible straps. Basically, less would be more with her design.
No one has outright stated that, but I would put zenny on it. They have already stated that they are using the MOBA model, which is a quasi-confirmation in my mind. We may get lucky and they may occasionally release a costume for sale with fight money... who knows?

Capcom has implied not all costumes would be paid though, so maybe we'll get some simpler ones like Alpha Ryu/Ken as freebies for clearing the story mode or something

When are they going to reveal more stages for Street Fighter V? They revealed the new airfield stage and where is the airfield stage in Street Fighter V located in? I want more stages to get revealed in Street Fighter V of Mexico, Spain, Paris, Hong Kong, Muac, Dubai desert, Rainbow Mika's wrestling ring, France, Italy, cave, jungle, Mad Gear, Ryu's stage, Australia, Canada, Britain, Thailand, beach stage, etc.

I think I would like FANG more if he wasn't so alien looking, and if he rolled up his sleeves. His proportions look so goofy compared to the rest of the cast it's really unsettling.

Also considering how SF V story mode goes across various timelines , its very possible for dead characters to be in the game and appear in flashback content.
