Kinda realized that it was a teaser due to seeing the parts involving Ken and Bison. Like it skipped a portion.

And to repeat an earlier question: do you guys think Seth and/or S.I.N. might play any part at all in the story or have they been swept under the rug at the end of IV. If the latter, what could Juri's allegiance be then? I can't really remember how the canonical story went for IV.
You could blame SFIV for not deviating far enough from II in many ways, but at least that game had a new (though admittedly quite weak) villain and evil organisation to fight against. I can't help but wonder why Capcom made V even more like II and Alpha in that department instead of doing away with Bison and Shadaloo this time in favor of a new boss / villainous organisation (or even the Illuminati).
Most likely. Or she hooked up with Illuminati if they're offering her another shot at Bison.
But even if they are, she'll just bite the hand that feeds her again. She can't help herself.
I'm not expecting much from the full trailer, anyway. It seems they intentionally avoided animating any of the CG models as much as possible, which is why half of the movement in that teaser has them turning into polygonal streaks instead of actually moving their limbs.
I wonder what happened to whoever did the old SF CG animation. That Hugo/Poison SFxT trailer is still one of my all-time favorite trailers for anything.
Eh. I'm not expecting much out of the potential opening myself, I just had a feeling that the opening wasn't fully shown.
And yeah, the trailers from SFxT were awesome.

Bison is going to be dead and gone by the time Juri releases.
Didn't the datamining say 12? But that might include future, DLC stages to go with the new characters.

edit: Also we got 30 FPS backgrounds, how the hell are they going to put weather effects in?
Well there should be an option to turn off the effects if you don't want it

If we don't hear about them next month I bet they were either dropped or never in. I'm also starting to worry about the extra sections of the stages that you can knock opponents into. China is the only one so far with that feature and a lot of the backgrounds in the character art show off scenery that is apparently in these locked off areas.

I think bottom right would be a solid choice. Though, in all honesty, I don't think they have to go that far. Just replace the top (and maybe change the hair).

You're starting to sound like a caffeine crazed version of me so it might be time to stop posting and read up on some of the replies you got already.
Not that I can't appreciate your vigorous lust for more info on the stages though ;-)
I really hope there will be, that and/or time of day changes as both would greatly increase the mileage for each stage. That small teaser image showing Rashid in front of the new stage's air control tower did show a night time version of that stage, so hopefully some of that will be in the final game still.
(Without it actually influencing the fighters of course - that would be a bit crazy people.)
That would be highly disappointing if true, especially after they unveiled the first stage (China) did have them. Would be very inconsistent in terms of stage design even. I don't get why people (i.e. journalists) don't ask Capcom more often about these things to avoid features like these from disappearing without pretty much anyone noticing.
You're also correct about those sections off-screen. Some even appear in the official character art, like Birdie's subway tunnel. Almost every stage has one or two of these at the edge of the screen, and they seem to be modelled to quite a bit of detail. One would hope they actually are reachable just like the China stage's restaurant or that they at least be used for comical "knocking someone outside of the arena" animations similar to the bus in that stage.
