Don't forget that the Kaioshin we know now was the weakest of the four. South Kaioshin was able to go toe to toe with Kid Buu.

Makes you wonder why they never replaced the other four missing Kais, including the one who ranked above the other four.

Kaioshins are born from golden fruits from a sacred tree that are very, very rare. Or something.

they have teleportation that surpasses Goku's IT, healing, can bring people back to life by sacrificing their own, telepathy that stretches across the universe, they can see anything anywhere in the universe, materialize things out of nothing(this aint that special though) telekinesis, and they provide the impetus for the creation of planets and stars

Teleportation is so useful, even without all the fighting shit. I wonder why nobody else ever learned it.

Like I can imagine the conversation during the training years for the androids.

Krillin: So, did you learn any new techniques while in space?
Goku: Well, I learned to teleport. It's p cool. Wanna learn it? It's p easy!
Krillin: eeeh I gotta go back to Kamehouse and just shoot kamehamehas into the sea. That's solid training.

Well Goku couldn't even sense any Ki on Earth from Beerus's planet until Gohan charged all of his Ki up (nor could he sense Vegeta on Beerus's planet from Earth), so if the Universe has tons of galaxies I don't see why it would be weird that there would be strong people they didn't know about... the character is even described as shy, so I assume they keep a low profile.

If he could sense Gohan, and the new guy is stronger than that, it makes little sense he never sensed the new guy.

Unless Nipples the Echidna never activated his full power during Goku's adult time, which could make sense given that Beers had fought him before Freeza died in Namek.

As I said, huge Universe. Beerus's planet is half an hour from Earth by Whis travel and the travel time to the planet that the tournament is on is from Beerus's planet is 2 more hours. The Universe is big, and the further away someone is the harder it is to sense them. Earth is also on the edge of the Universe.

The planet the tournament is on seems to not be on either universe, so it makes sense the travel time is longer than Beers' planet to Earth; Beers himself is shocked that Earth is so far away, so it seems that 26 minutes of Whis-speed must cover a good part of the universe. Absolutely worst case, Goku can sense Gohan-level people (aka not that strong) within a sphere of 26 minutes radius, but the universe is 4 hours around. Chances are it is not the worst case.

There's also the chance that the guy uses God ki, which would have rendered him invisible to Goku before BoG, no matter how powerful Nipples is, or how close he is. He could have lived on Penguin Village for all it matters if he had God Ki.

I'm reading some other AF fan manga not by Toyble and one of the first lines is "congratulations on your birth, Lord Ize"

Young Jijii's. The art is more polished but there are some panels that are pretty blatant with redoing manga scenes. His villains also suuuuuuuck and his fights also suuuuuuck.

Still, it's ok for quick entertainment.

What is Whis? A god? I wonder if he has anybody that he answers to.

I wouldn't be surprised if every universe had a master of power like Whis and Vados.
Because Universe 6 and 7 are so similar, Vados and Whis are similar. But other God of Destruction trainers are likely very different.

But there's probably someone above them that's the grand ruler of them all. It'll be fun to learn about Whis. He's much more mysterious than Beerus.

Is it fair to say that Vegeta is currently stronger than Goku since he began training with Whis six months before Goku joined in? You could argue that they are equal because Vegeta had to initially close the huge gap already between them, but maybe Whis' training is so good that he closed that gap very quickly.

Wasn't it already implied in the anime?

I'm pretty certain Vegeta (Super) is stronger than Goku at this point.

Yes when Goku first came to train but who knows whether Goku was able to catch up or not. Logically, yes, Vegeta should still be stronger but whether he actually is or not who knows. They haven't made a very big deal out of it if he is.

If anything, I'd say they are equals as of now. In the manga,
while in the "no transformations" fight, Vegeta did go SSJB because he wasn't really getting anywhere in the fight.

If Frieza became as strong as SSJB after training only like 4 months... Imagine how strong GODHAN would become if he trained for a month. Bro would easily be twice as strong as SSJB.

I get the impression they're pretty much equal.

LOL. The bolded ain't nothing to brag about. In fact, I thought it was one of the dumbest things about the way the cosmic hierarchy works in DB. Old Kai during the Buu saga was the highest ranking god. Meaning he ranked far, far above someone like King Yemma/Enma/whatever. If you're in that position, why do you have to literally kill yourself to bring someone else back to life? You're a fucking god! And the top dog at that! Just declare a state of emergency and say you're going to let whoever the fuck you want back to Earth. Jeez.

Gohan is too busy going to conferences instead of actually training.

He really needs to disappear like Launch did.

He'll get his Tien moment. deflect two attacks and give Goku enough time to make a wish on the Super Dragon Balls before getting knocked out.

Can't wait for the RoF arc to end and for the how to outpace the manga.

Champa?? But Beerus is the one who fought him.

Ah, I meant Beerus! I keep thinking he's on Champa's team because he's so new and weird.

This probably why it won't happen. If we remove the God-Ki stuff, Gohan was far above Goku and Vegeta. With God-Ki he'd be OP.

They... forgot™.

It wouldn't be Dragon Ball without forgetting about characters.

But his planet was restored though? Somehow....

No, he got a new planet. A small one. Like reaaaaally small.

Ah, I meant Beerus! I keep thinking he's on Champa's team because he's so new and weird.

haha I was pretty confused
I'm really interested in seeing him fight

We better get a fused SSB Goku and Vegeta

Wait, that was a new planet? I mean, yeah it seemed bigger, but I thought that's just cause of the new animation. Cause it looks identical to the original one.

It's weird because in Kai Goku mentions that the wish to restore all of Cell's victims did include Kaio, Gregory and Bubbles. But that may have been a dub addition seeing as how they still have the halos even then.

Piccolo always saving his ass. Gohan is the only fighter that never died I think. Dude just needs to get fucked up for real sometime soon.

Gohan died when Buu blew up the planet. He also died in the alternate future trunks timeline. Beyond that, he's been on the receiving end of some really brutal beat-downs.

Yea. That'll teach his weak ass to stop training.

He needs to be executed, legit. In front of everyone. Like, completely destroyed -- maybe even have videl and the baby get killed as well. He needs to feel loss like he did with 16.

>:D

I've always been a big Gohan, but dude needs to know how it feels like to be beaten to shit/played with and literally executed. Him dying by the planet being blown up didn't result in much of a character change as he was knocked out cold anyway. And Future Gohan is a total badass, cause he knows what actual loss feels like. Scholar Gohan got the easy life and that made him complacent.

Definitely. What Freeza was doing with him was perfect. But then Piccolo had to come in and ruin the party.

I don't think gohan died there did he? The kais pulled him off earth and everyone assumed he died because his ki was gone, but that's because he left the planet rather than dying.

Maybe I'm misremembering.

He means the second time with kid buu when he's unconscious and vegeta gets pissed goku saved dende and Satan instead of gohan and his other sons.

Goku was right in the end.

Scholar gohan is still stronger than future gohan ever was.

Let's not rush this conclusion.

Gohan still has one or two years to go before we reach the point where he died in the android timeline.

He can still become weaker.

hey man, the guy was sealed for a long time and couldn't have even known about Baba's ability to bring dead people back to earth, cut the old man some slack. As for Supreme Kai not saying anything I think it's been firmly established by then that he's a dumbass. Goku probably assumed he couldn't do it again since he just used up all his time.(which might be true, no one knows how that shit actually works)

16? The android he had never met before except that one moment?
