Remember Toriyama saying specifically that Freeza and King Cold are unusually strong for their race, some sort of mutant. With everything else he's said being included in SUper this probably would be too
After hours of tracing and coloring I finished something so others can see what one of the characters looks like. Everything bellow the shoulders color wise is just me guessing based off of the colors we do know and the shading in the manga.

Well that really only applies for universe 7 considering Freeza and Cold are the only mutants of their race in that universe. I expect this Not Freeza character to be more of an anti hero than a flat out villain just to set him apart from Freeza, but we'll see soon enough.

anyone else find it funny how Beerus pretty much decided on his own that he's going to use the Earth as a bargaining chip in his bet with Champa? He didn't have to consult the Kais whatsoever. When King Kai spoke of Beerus originally, he made it sound like he's on the same level as the Supreme Kai/Old Kai, if not in raw power then in status, but it seems pretty clear that he's at the top of the pyramid.

Beerus is on the same level as the Kaioshin (Supreme Kais) in terms of status, but he is massively more powerful and can do what he wants and the Kais can't do anything to stop him.

With the new retcons with Freiza knowing about Beerus and Buu the whole time it's still a little strange and...Convenient though. There's Freiza, ruler of a galactic empire, one of the strongest out there for decades. Then Buu, who makes Freiza shit his pants, and makes his father say never to mess with him. And Beerus, infinitely moreso.
Meanwhile red nipples was stronger the whole time? Enough to match god form Saiyans, too?
Wondering if there's more to this...There has to be, right guys? Right? Guize?
They're still a little funky with the universe vs galaxy shenanigans, if there were more galaxies with more powerful characters already, going to a whole new universe without exploring other galaxies in this one seems like a weird plot move. Sometimes it seems to imply the galaxy IS their universe, or at most there are four "directional" galaxies?
Though, weird plot moves is nothing new.

Well Freeza only knew about Buu because of his dad (and he never got scared, all he said was his dad told him not to mess with him very calmly) and Beerus presumably introduced himself. Jaco says there are tons of Galaxies in the universe so I don't think it's far fetched that there are a strong people out there that Freeza and Cold never heard of. The only real question is about Kaioshin, Beerus fought this guy 900 years ago and with how they monitored Beerus while he was awake recently you'd think he would have back then as well.

I think the Supreme Kai's need a buff in importance/abilities. Obviously not raw-power but they gotta have some crazy hax'd abilities right? They're the gods of creation! They're supposed to be equal with Beerus in terms of status.

Well Goku couldn't even sense any Ki on Earth from Beerus's planet until Gohan charged all of his Ki up (nor could he sense Vegeta on Beerus's planet from Earth), so if the Universe has tons of galaxies I don't see why it would be weird that there would be strong people they didn't know about... the character is even described as shy, so I assume they keep a low profile.

he's apparently really shy/calm and kind. He's probably not the type to go looking for fights like Saiyans are, wouldn't be surprised if Champa blackmailed/manipulated him to fight. It sounds like he lives a quiet life until someone decides to try and f*ck with him.

Ki can also be suppressed to a really low level too, remember Trunks having a Power Level of 5 when he first showed up against Freeza?

I'm disappointed he's not a dead character who kept his body. The DB universe has existed for like 100 million years, and dead heroes can keep their body in the afterlife to train FOREVER, yet the most powerful characters in the franchise are all people who are alive :/
Plus there would be more stakes if he was dead because you can't revive someone whose body "die" while they are dead (at least not with normal Dragon Balls).

Maybe it's partly because there's one God of Destruction per universe while there's a handful of Kais? But yeah I also feel as gods of creation they should be a bit more.

Don't forget that the Kaioshin we know now was the weakest of the four. South Kaioshin was able to go toe to toe with Kid Buu.

they have teleportation that surpasses Goku's IT, healing, can bring people back to life by sacrificing their own, telepathy that stretches across the universe, they can see anything anywhere in the universe, materialize things out of nothing(this aint that special though) telekinesis, and they provide the impetus for the creation of planets and stars
they probably just aren't meant to be fighters(though the supreme kais at least are stronger than 99.9% of the universe) their abilities are more in the role of support(fitting for their role)
