We literally had someone yesterday saying TFA was the worst of all the Star Wars movies, even worse than all the prequels. And that TPM was "underrated"

We have someone today ranking ESB dead last.

I thought the opposite. The lightsaber duels were clumsy and lacked grace and fluidity that even the OT films had. Like JJ wanted to move away from the prequel style, but he went too far in that direction.
And I think I'm contrarian...We literally had someone yesterday saying TFA was the worst of all the Star Wars movies, even worse than all the prequels. And that TPM was "underrated"

Their friendship made no sense to me. They knew each other for 5 minutes and were only helping each other because of circumstance. The Finn/Rey stuff didn't make much sense, either. He basically fell in love with her as soon as she hit him in the face. The relationships in general came together way too quickly. They all met for like a couple days but acted like they were old friends.

You have no idea what you're missing.jesus christ why
But R2 didn't make the trip with Rey to find Luke, so I don't find that theory likely. R2 is Luke's doid, not BB-8, so he'd probably want to be reconnected as well.
Rey is definitely related to Luke because in the original trailer Luke is telling her the force runs strong in his family. He says his father, himself, his sister and You have that power too.
So, it's a Skywalker family relation of some sort. He's probably going to apprentice her and together they'll chase down Kylo and the big creepy Dark Side guy.

I'm not saying that it's completely ridiculous that they became friends but it all happened way too quickly, like everything was on fast forward to get to other things.Rey hasn't had a close friendship with anyone for years on Jakku and that kind of thing is frowned on in the First Order. It really didn't seem that unlikely to me.

What does classic Star Wars even mean? We got cool lightsaber battles, we got Han Solo and Chewie being awesome, we got a cantina like sequences with tons of strange aliens, a new and memorable droid with BB-8, a great cast of new characters taking on evil in the galaxy. If this is not classic Star Wars, I don't know what it.So true. And the best acting in the entire movie is the last 20 seconds. Hamil's face when he sees her/the saber is just incredible. It is the only part that felt classic SW to me.
Nah everything rushes until then. The movie gets good for me after they leave Jakku.Everything after Jakku is such a slog.
Clone wars looks like garbage
They aren't going to pull another immaculate conception, that was one of the most despised parts of the prequel lore. It's in the dustbin along with midichlorians, we will never get that on screen again.
It was to distract his pain from the wound he already had.
The the last time, that quote from Luke is from Return of the Jedi.
That's your opinion, it's one of my favorite Star Wars subject matter. Incredibly dark, compelling story arch's and so much back story. If it were a movie it would rank very high on my list.Clone wars looks like garbage

You could not be more wrong, the best star wars movie is hidden in that series.
I really don't get why people keep acting like Rey beating Ren was unrealistic even though he was hurt to the point where he had to keep beating his wound to stay conscious.
Does any supplementary media explain why Kylo Ren lightsaber hilt has extra uhhh...mini lightsaber?

Ok, what does that have to do with what I said?I remember these people named Luke, Leia and Han who were all pretty fam by the end of a movie called A New Hope.
"A Princess and a guy like me...?"
"No."
Is that really what he was doing though? No one else that went with me knew what that was about, and assumed it was just him venting anger or trying to focus. I guess we just all missed exactly where Han shot him, but I thought it was in the leg, and I thought he was pounding his side/chest/shoulder before it got hit with the lightsaber.
I've never thought CW was ever ugly, some scenes are jaw dropping beautiful. Especially season four and on.I'm talking about the visuals
I can't be arsed to watch 5+ seasons of something that ugly, no matter how good it is
also darth maul revived and having a brother is dumb as shit

I interpreted that as the screams of the students at Luke's academy being killed by the Knights of Ren.
The Thrawn trilogy story as a direct sequel to Jedi absolutely shits on this movie. Can't believe how much it dropped the ball in not bridging that 30 year gap in story. Unbelievable.
Chewie put a major shot with his bow in Ren's leg after Han got killed. It was very obvious to me at least that he was wounded a lot from that.Is that really what he was doing though? Listen to this gaffer^_^!It was chewie that shot him, in the side
He's beating the wound to keep focused. There's even a shot of his blood leaking the first time he does it.
Looking back on it a day later, the scene in Han's freighter with the rathtars was really unnecessary. Not terrible, but there could have been a different way to move the plot along and get the characters acquainted with each other than giant CG monsters out of nowhere.

Good point.I'm not really sure why Luke would retrieve the lightsaber when he had already constructed a new one.
