Nah son. You just one of the many buying into Steve excuse of blaming the card. The thing is all he had to do is to announce is who is the 2nd and 1st runner up is. That is it. What he got confused about is he thought the 1st runner up is the Ms. Universe. Its a runner up. If there is anything moronic here it is blaming the format of the card and not the person who fucked up the announcement of the winner. That card was as clear as a day which are which. If you got confused by that then sucks to be you.

If you're in Miss Universe, being attractive is give in.
What makes this gif striking is the strut, the confidence, the smile, the eye contact and general charisma.
Yeah, she has the genetic gifts, but don't underrate charisma and confidence.
If she was walking timidly, slouching, not making any eye contact, the reaction to this gif would not be as striking.
This is why all those ugly duckling to beauty comedies involving a female character are so easy to pull off. Body language is a big part of attractiveness.

Not only that, but this would have been covered in production meetings, and I'd be amazed if they did not have a rehearsal. Hell, if he watched any beauty pageant he'd clue into how it's done.
But coming back out after 2 minutes (and I'd bet money they told him within 30 seconds, and he desperately tried to get out of coming back on stage) and saying 'Listen folks, this is exactly what it says on the card, I will take responsibility for this' as though it's not his fault is disgusting. At least he eventually apologized (after deleting his first tweet that fucked up the countries names). What an idiot, he even made Donald Trump seem reasonable in all of this.
Who the hell would hire this clown for any live event to represent their brand?

Watched this last night after it was posted here. Pretty great fuck up on SH's part. I really enjoyed it. I don't really care for the guy or have anything against him though, but I'm just glad I got to see it. Shit happens.
Also, props to Colombia for not going crazy on stage and handling the situation pretty gracefully all things considered.

I wish people didn't look to him as a spokesperson for men because he could not be a worse choice.
Anyway I thought the women handled this very well. The looks on their faces, especially Miss Colombia, are pretty heart breaking. I know a lot of is, including myself, think these pageants are stupid, but this would be like getting offered your dream job, then getting called back a minute later saying they meant to call someone else. Would be tough to swallow.
