"A year long salary" plus lots and lots of free stuff including a free pad in New York, free clothes and shoes, free styling, free makeup and skincare, a free gym membership... Basically all her expenses over the next year will be covered except for food.
So Colombia probably won't earn quite as much, but she should still be given modeling opportunities and representation that she might not have been offered otherwise if she played her cards right. Currently, she's still pissy about having the crown for two seconds and then losing it.

I was watching the news (Univision) and they had an interview with Ms. Columbia about the whole thing. The interviewer asked her what happened when she went to her room, and she mentioned she was crying a lot and it took her a while to get over it. She also mentioned that Steve Harvey has not once got in contact with her to try and apologize for the mix up. She had said that she heard that Steve tried looking for her the day it happened, but left or something like that. That's pretty messed up from Steve imo.
This thread kind of died.
But the host and the two finalists have met in his show, and everything is good and well now.
Miss Universe have just arrived in the Philippines, and is having a parade. Almost being treated like a queen.
What is most shocking is, that the government, want to reward Pia Wurtzbach, and remove the requirement to pay taxes of her prize. This is insane.
