That's terrible. I mean, yes, Civ and AoW are very different games, with completely different focuses, but still. Terrible.
Terrible, even.
AoW3 is fantastic.
As someone who owns all gameplay DLC for eu4 I would say most of them is needed and as someone who owns all the DLC I can also safely say it's not cheap lol
If you want all gameplay DLC and game it would be like 57€
To be fair they have been releasing over like 4 years now. I would skip Cossacs for sure since it's not discounted (my policy is only get new DLC at least at 50% off). That makes things a lot better.
EU4 is very very good and a much better game then Civ BE.
It's almost 3 AM and I'm watching a trailer from Teddy Floppy Ear.
I guess I need to get some sleep.

I'm considering FF 7&8. Are there many benefits to playing them on PC as opposed to PS1 emulation? And I know the music was fixed for 7, did 8 have any problems like that?
Do you not get cards when buying stuff anymore?
I ask because there's no bar/indicator in the Cart.
Looks like Darkest Dungeon is on sale for ten bucks, go for it if you're interested. It releases this January out of Early Access.
This is hard without some info. What do you have? What do you want? Give us a shortlist of what you dig or might dig.
You're already on Shovel Knight so your taste demonstrably does not suck.
The only DLC that is absolutely mandatory for EU4 is the Art of War and Common Sense DLC. Art of War changes up the military game a ton, and you'll always be using that army builder, while Common Sense unlocks the development system, which is needed for buildings and tall nations. Finally, the Sabaton Soundtrack DLC is mandatory, as you'll dishonour yourself and your family if you don't own it.
The rest are great, but if you're not interested in a nation that the DLC is directed at, then you can skip it.
I don't have a Vita or PS3 to check, but on PSP you can remap the directional controls to the analog stick. You can also do it if you are emulating on PC.Final Fantasy 7 on PS1 released before Dualshock controllers are a thing and unless I'm mistaken the PS1 release on PSN still requires you to use the analog D-pad for movement which is a total pain in the ass. The controller support for the Steam release of 7 is pretty good and works with xinput stuff (360, XBO controllers) right out of the gate.
I can vouche for that one. A steal for the price. One of the few games I actually finished this year.
Just double checked to be sure, it's official release is January 19th, 2016. They've also mentioned this is the last time the game will be on sale as an Early Access game too.Thanks. Good to know, I thought that the full release was still far off.
I think Res Publica is cheap and offers good value with the monarch point switching (national focus) which is good to have as any nation.
Just got Ryse Son of Rome. Hope its worth for 6.79 lol

National focus sure is great. So great it was added to the Common Sense DLC! So you just have to buy that now.
I remember the Upgrade to DARK SOULS II: Scholar of the First Sin having a higher discount if owning both the main game and season pass to Dark Souls II during the last seasonal sale.
Right now its just showing a 62% discount for me, that can't be right.
Thanks, taking a look at it now.I can vouche for that one. A steal for the price. One of the few games I actually finished this year.
Any consensus on Total War: Attila? Worth $12 (GMG) if I already played a fair amount of Rome 2?
Excellent, if very, very, VERY, PAINFULLY difficult. The game is described as being "Survival Stragedy", and you can tell why. Very rewarding game though. Recommend playing as the Western, or Eastern Roman Empire.
Has amazing atmosphere as well, for a Total War Game

Excellent, I'll pick it up.
Awesome! I hope you guys enjoy the game. I personally love how awful and terrible it makes me feel!Perfect, picked it up as well.

Are there any good JRPGs on sale?
Trails In The Sky: FC (First Chapter) says "hello".
The 62% off discount is supposed to be for people like me who only owned DS2 and never got the DLC. The DS2+ DLC owners discount is supposed to be like 90%.
I bought Infinifactory and played the first couple levels. I can tell I'm really going to like this game.
I kind of want Endless Legend, but i've only ever liked 4X in theory and find them overwhelming. I almost purchased it but then I saw the DLC and do not know if I want to drop $20 on it.
Might upgrade my Dark Souls II to SotF.
Hmmm. Is Dark Souls 2 SotFS worth it if I liked but never finished the first Dark Souls?
Might be between that and Pillars of Eternity for "big" purchase this sale. Maybe Gal Civ III or Age of Wonders 3.

Steam reviews for Darkest Dungeon don't see that promising.
People say omg SNAKEBIRD..... which is great and all, but I have two very specific picks.
Mini Metro
Sunless Sea
I've played Betrayer but I haven't finished it. It was enjoyable but the combat's pretty tough. You know how in Skyrim you play "easy mode" by shooting from afar? Here, that's almost the only way to play because if the mobs get in melee range you're basically fucked.
First isn't necessary for the second to be played or anything, but the first is superior. Why haven't you finished it?
Last I played Mini Metro was when it was still a free alpha and I couldn't get into it. Seemed too simple for me, I didn't see the strategy. It's obviously evolved and improved since then. Can you talk a bit more about the strategy involved in the gameplay?People say omg SNAKEBIRD..... which is great and all, but I have two very specific picks.
Mini Metro
Sunless Sea is fantastic. The way it brings the world to damp dank inky-black life with its exquisite prose is just incredible. Some of the best writing you'll find in any game. The appropriately-arduous, purposely grueling journeys into dark unknown waters are always rewarding and always tense
I think this sale will really hurt smaller titles. Nothing on my wish list is more than like 50% off and I see no reason to jump on them like I did in the past with flash sales. Instead of setting everything to the max discount most publishers seem to have chosen non-daily/flash sale level discounts.
I'll just go the safe route and buy Undertale.
Any good turn-based tactics games on sale? I've got all the X-com/XCOM games, Xenonauts, and Invisible Inc. I also have Shadowrun Dragonfall if that counts.
