The problem you are seeing is Bloodrayne was released prior to xinput. It actually uses dinput, which is what explains buttons not working and the strange button layout.

I just want The Stick of Truth to be discounted
Stick of Truth is actually a Ubisoft published Steamworks title, so if it's on sale on Amazon, GMG, etc, it will activate on Steam.
Fall of Cybertron is definitely a $5 or below title. I picked my copy up on Amazon, but Activision is well aware of Steam's popularity and tends to gouge a bit on the service.
Yeah i've seen that for the last few sales. However It's the fact that Axiom Verge is only 30% off that's making me hesitant to buy it. I skipped it during the Autumn sale because i was hoping for a bigger discount during this sale which didn't happen.
I suppose i can look on Ebay for it then?

While we're recommending indie racing games that try something new, people should check out Krautscape.
Dynamic, on-the-fly user-generated tracks (leading car decides where the track will go) with some serious aerial mobility in unique origami-style birdcars.

Never played Skyrim. Might be time to check it out. Also thinking about picking up KotOR I and II, haven't played them in like a decade and never beat either of them.
To build on this question, is it possible to have a good experience using K+M instead of a pad?
Should probably say how much, just to save time.

some advice, mod the shit out of skyrim, vanilla skyrim is hot garbage in every single way possible imo.
From what I've seen and read about it I have no interest in playing it. Same with Life Is Strange but I have to be careful when saying that around these parts. Lets just say neither are my kind of game.
That's a good idea. Just need one more person for a Rocket League 4pack, would come out to 10.50$ USD
What mods are recommended? I am playing on a mediocre laptop, so any graphical mods are a giant nope.

I kinda want Street Fighter X Tekken, what am I missing out on with just the base game? Also, is GFWL really needed for the single player? I've heard it was only needed for multiplayer.

Still weighing up the purchase of the same games that I was considering a few weeks ago - I think I have sale fatigue already.
Would love to see some fly-on-the-wall analysis of the success (or otherwise) of the lack of dailies etc - if avoiding refunds is the primary (sole?) driver for this, then weighing the negatives of that up against the daily surge of traffic/excitement/discussion etc as each day begins would be very interesting.
Oh this is very tempting. It seems like a great deal at that price! I've bought about $60 this sale already but this is at a good price point that I may just impulse buy it tomorrow.
Shadow of Mordor is very skipable if you are on the fence.

oh man I don't know any off the top of my head. truth be told mods just made it from hot garbage to slightly above average. I have like 100 hrs on it on steam but thats mostly cause I spent a lot of time fucking with the mods to make sure they worked properly and shit. I like fallout 3 more than skyrim.

Iirc sfxt+all pc released dlc went for $15 on amazon.com a few times
Use enhanced steam to see where it is cheapest atm.
8-12 DLC characters that are on-disc.
Extra colors.
Extra gems.
Other shit that isn't needed beyond the characters, really.
AFAIK, GfWL is needed to activate but after that it's fine.

Story isnt all that great but if u want batman combat in mordor setting+orc hunting and slaying simulator def check it out
Ofherwise i would say mad max is better...at least until people trash talk that game next year

oh by all means, if you want to fall asleep in the middle of playing go with vanilla skyrim. just don't come here telling us how boring vanilla skyrim is, cause i already warned you of it. with some combat mods and other overhauls you can salvage a decent game out of that crap.
hmm... personally I'm not interested in neither but mad max has cars with flame throwers... are there any actual races in mad max? if so I think I'd go with that one.

Check out the Skyrim Nexus and decide for yourself. There's a lot of great mods out there.
Before anything else, grab SkyUI--it will bring Skyrim's UI into the 21st Century--and the Unofficial Patches to bring the game into its best vanilla state. From there, the sky's the limit.

Mordor is a ton of fun especially for $10. It's a great 'popcorn flick'. Nothing deep, not overly long. I enjoyed the heck out of it until the end. Story is nothing special, and avenging your friends deaths from other orcs is amusing too.

For $9 I'd absolutely go for it, if only to check out the Nemesis system and if you already know you like that style of combat. I won't make any grand promises about story quality, but it is very interesting how much backlash this game gets now after it ended up at the top of many GOTY lists last year (which many will just write off as 2014 being a weak year for games overall).
