Glad I'm not too obsessed with that stuff, but some of it reminds me of that Monk DVD set:

That is perfect

But there is a big point to doing this with Monk, since the character has heavy OCD (albeit in a very comical way), and would be losing his shit with such a box set - which is hilarious in the context of the show, and quite genius.

Steam games have no such excuse

I'm a few hours into undertale and while it's charming for sure its going nowhere near my goty contenders. It's a cute little distraction. Unless it gets incredibly better somehow later.

I bought KotOR 2. Figure it's about time I played it. Is there a way to scale the UI for Tv? Everything is so small.

What should the OP list? All 8000 games? There are no dailys this time around.

Sorry I just remember there usually being a link to the sale page. Just trying to find out what's on sale

Youre right though, without flash or dailies it's not really possible. Will have to wait until I get home and go on Steam

Wow

The first episode of Tales from the Borderlands was really fucking good. Lovin all the characters. Can't wait to play more.

After watching some gameplay videos, I finally caved and bought Metal Gear Solid 5. This will be my first ever experience with the Metal Gear series, and I'm looking forward to finding interesting ways to complete objectives.

You just may have convinced me to wait for a bigger sale.

I'm sure there's people that really dig it but I'm about an hour into it and it's definitely not my thing. I know it was compared to Earthbound a lot (at least early on) and I don't like Earthbound so maybe use that as a gauge to determine your own tastes towards it.

Mostly I just don't like the vagueness of its "battle" system. I like numbers and when I don't know if something is working because the feedback is made to be obtuse I just lose interest.

Hand of Fate is pretty darn good, hopefully the progression is strong and it'll hold my interest. Can't quite put my finger on why, but it reminds me of Deep Dungeon of Doom.

I think that the Discovery Queue incentive is a ton better than horrible clicker games or gems or summer camp teams or anything else they've done in theory, but their recommendation process is so shoddy it just doesn't come together well in practice. Between what people own and follow and have in their wish lists and spend their time playing and user generated tags and store page views and user ratings and sales data and so much else, they don't have enough data points to make my queue something other than the stuff that's plastered all over the front page that I had to scroll through to get to the queue in the first place? Just be honest and call it the "Direct Advertising Queue".

I would write this game off, but never hear anything but great things. If I thought the characters and humor was kinda lame in 1 and (mostly) 2, is this possible to like still?

The humor is completely different. Where the main titles humor is like 9gag and LOL INTERNET MEMES + some popculturereferences, tales from the borderlands reminds of classic comedy movies/Cartoons like The Naked Gun, Shaun from the dead and stuff like that.

The zombie survival thing seems pretty ridiculously hot right now, yeah. I'm seeing recommendations constantly.

And I know full well it isn't for me -- my roommates are heavy into 7 Days to Die and everything about it is nope. D:

hey I own undertale now!

if you guys were lying to me about this game....

I think ill grab this also because of GAF,but I hope its not a Meatboy,Hotline Miami,Ori type of game, meaning its hard as hell because I have no patience for stuff like this anymore lol...and by looking at the trailer on Steam on the game page,it's hard to figure out what kind of game this is...I dont want to search more in case of spoilers or anything,so I am going blind...I mean what the hell,it's 10 bucks,no big deal if its one of those great games I am not skilled enough to play ;)

I am not a fan of the writing in Borderlands 1 or 2 almost in their entirety (the last DnD DLC for 2 was quite hilarious though as a PnP gamer) but I think Tales from the Borderlands is hilarious and it just gets better and better as it goes on. I haven't finished episodes 4 & 5 yet but apparently they do a superb job wrapping it all together. 8.50 is easily worth the 10-12 hours of enjoyment.

Invisible.Inc was the outlier and I almost didnt get it cause its still bit new and expensive but it does seem to be pretty good and iirc it's Nabs™ approved, whom I often have similar taste with

Am I crazy or did SE drop the prices of some of their games since yesterday? I think Tomb Raider GOTY was 75% off yesterday and is 85% off today.

Lords of the Fallen if I've played all the Dark Souls games? $10 seems reasonable.

I hated it, and i've playe and loved all soulsgames as well. Maybe that's even why i hated it, because i was comparing it to souls from the very beginning. Who knows. But i wouldn't recommend it at any price.
