I gifted a friend shower with your dad, which he loved as he is a keen fan of simulation gaming. But for some reason I now have a gift copy of the game in my inventory and I have no idea where it came from. Any ideas? Wasn't gifted as far as I can tell

This happened to me with 3x Shower With Your Dad, Shadowrun: Dragonfall, and LISA that I gifted to my friends. Not sure what's up.

Sidenote: Guacamelee Turbo is only $1.50 for a great action platformer/Metroidvania with lots of personality. I recommend it if anyone is looking for cheap gems. Make sure to get Turbo rather than Gold or Complete.

I think Divinity:OS has this level of price consistency because it's selling too well :P

And Larian know how to play the looong tail sales. They'll only breach each new price level when they are certain that there are no sales left to be had at the higher one. Personally, I think it makes sense when you have a developer-owned game from a developer with a long-term perspective who has no immediate need for cash.

Not ideal for people who want to get the game cheap of course.

To support that notion, If you look at the steamspy numbers of the original and the Enhanced edition (Which was free for owners of the original), you can see that the Enhanced Edition sold 30.000 Copies since its release exactly 2 months ago.

And that is on steam only, no GOG numbers included.

I got a nice £50 voucher for xmas. But what to buy. How likely is Soma to drop below 25%? Also, is Dead Rising 3 still a shitty port, or did they manage to fix it to some level of respectability? Probably not, right?

that feel when you end up on a team in which in your teammates seem to have some basic understanding of the rules and strategy of soccer and not like a bunch of toddlers chasing a ball...
 
Merry christmas, SteamGAF!

Haven't bought anything on Steam so far, but wow, that Humble Eye Candy bundle is insane value for 10$, considering that Right now ROM is like 8€ and D4 is 7.5€ (I'm aware that ROM was part of an Indie Gala and I believe that D4 has been cheaper before, but eh). First time I'm buying the top tier of a Humble Bundle since they introduced the third tier!

I think I'll probably buy Dragonfall:DC since I've been meaning to for a while, but there's nothing else I really have to buy right now. Tbh, what I'd really like is to see DA:Inquisition for 10$ on Amazon... I'm a sucker for Bioware games, sorry ;_;

I get the toddler chasing a ball, if i don't play goalie every game it's like 0-4 in 2 min. cause no one can peel back when two are up.

Also in ranked is there a penalty for leaving? Was just in a 1v3 and it was not fun getting pounded, wasn't sure if i could just peace out or not.

DR3 was never fixed.
It's still has bugs from One version too in DLCs.
 
That reminds me, I have a 33% off stackable Dropsy coupon that takes it down to $3.34 instead of the current 50% price of $4.99. It expires New Years Day and I won't be using it, so if anyone wants it?

Might have to wait a few days due to the trade hold.

Sent gifts sit in your inventory until they've been redeemed.
 
The one nice thing I'll say about the lack of dailies is that it's easier (not cheaper) to buy (late) Christmas gifts for friends and family, since you don't have to wait and hope something good goes on sale before Christmas. Still haven't bought anything for myself though, but maybe I'll pick something up towards the end of the sale.

I'm thinking of buying Squarecells or Paint It Back. Paint It Back seems to offer a lot more value for the price, but I really really liked the Hexcells games. If you could only pick one, which one would you choose?

R$200 (~$50) and i have now Dark Souls 2, The Witcher 3 (wanted to get in gog but too expensive there...) and 12 more games that will keep me entertained for a long time.

Idle Master portable glitched somehow while I was away, it seemingly tried to idle in a lot of different games simultaneously without actually triggering drops.

Now I'm over 7 hours into 30 games I never played with no cards dropped in any of them. lol.

My profile now makes it look like I managed to clock almost 8 hours into Go! Go! Nippon and Cherry Tree High I! My! Girls!, and those times will grow even longer since I still need the cards from those games.

yeah I've noticed this a lot lately.. sometimes I will have closed idlemaster but if I go to task manager steam-idle.exe is still running..
