Dark Echo
Price (USD): $1.01
THE GAME: Trapped in darkness, you must use visualized sound to guide your way through threatening environments. The sounds you create will bounce off obstacles, revealing the shape of the surrounding world. It won't be long before your only way of sensing the world attracts a horrifying evil that devours both sound and souls. Survive through 80 levels that will make your heart race and leave you with an irrational fear of red lines. A foreboding soundscape, best experienced with headphones, sets the tone for your journey. Explore, solve puzzles, and most importantly - stay alive.
WHY SHOULD I CARE: Definitely an experience and slowly adds mechanics and challenge to make it more than a one-trick pony. Maybe unsurprisingly, it's not a one trick pony. The 'Echo Vision' element is surprisingly nice.
WHAT'S THE CATCH?: A bit long at 80 stages maybe to complete it, not an experience all may appreciate.

Anoxemia
Price (USD): $1.11
THE GAME: Anoxemia is a story-driven exploration game that puts you in control of the scientist Dr. Bailey and his operations drone, ATMA. Search the ocean floor as you discover and extract samples from the bowels of the underwater caves.
WHY SHOULD I CARE: Great atmosphere, unique yet simple control scheme, an interesting style and some innovation in the way it designs such as a little drone that warns of danger which plays out a bit interestingly.
WHAT'S THE CATCH?: Story is a bit weak and the slow pace some may find dull.

Into The Gloom
Price (USD): $1.19
THE GAME: Into The Gloom is a first person puzzle solving horror game based on retro style graphics. It features only the black, white and red colors. Explore 18 suspenseful levels to find the items and solve the puzzles. You will encounter terrifying events along your path, and must escape from "The Shadow". This is an atmospheric horror game; creepiness is not only about monsters but the environment, rich enveloping sounds and occasional jump scares. This game also features real dynamic puzzles, not limited to pickup and use items. Headphones are strongly recommended for best experience. Prepare for the horror, and to run for your life in this pixel style horror adventure featuring five possible endings!
WHY SHOULD I CARE: Despite the low-res graphics and the limited color scheme, this game has a really oppressive and unnerving atmosphere with some very good scare scenes and leaving you guessing what's to come. Multiple endings are interesting to go after. The puzzles are brain teasers, but many of them are fun. Some good sound design.
WHAT'S THE CATCH?: Puzzles some may find frustrating, some of them are very obtuse. A bit linear and short.

Shadow Man
Price (USD): $1.24
THE GAME: He is coming, stalking criminals in the spirit world and the real world. A possessed man is coming, a voodoo mask in his chest and lines of power in his back. Shadow Man is coming, trailing evil from Liveside to Deadside. To stop an apocalypse. To save your soul.
WHY SHOULD I CARE: Classic game from the N64/PSX era. Has elements of Tomb Raider, Metroid, Banjo-Kazooie, and more melded into an occult horror title. Has some fun design and variety of stages, mixed with some Metroidvania elements.
WHAT'S THE CATCH?: Some clunky controls, shows its age a bit.

The Music Machine
Price (USD): $1.49
THE GAME: A teenaged girl and the vindictive ghost that's possessing her deal with cosmic mysteries and interpersonal struggles in this character-driven narrative-focused horror adventure.
WHY SHOULD I CARE: It's a fairly unique walking simulator. It is stylistic and has a few light puzzles, but is narrative and atmosphere focused at its core. By the same person who made the earlier lists "The Moon Silver," and, "A Wolf in Autumn." The two (or one?) character(s) are interesting, with the girl talking with a psychopathic man who's either possessing her or a split personality perhaps. Delves into their relationship, the strange island their on's past, and things bigger than them.
WHAT'S THE CATCH?: Walking Simulator and a more narrative-driven experience than anything, which is not for everyone. And about 1-2 hours long.

Shutter
Price (USD): $1.49
THE GAME: Re-live a dark and haunting tale in this fixed camera puzzle-horror game RE-miniscent of the first generation of survival horror games. Using both CCTV cameras and your upgradable RC surveillance unit, you have to keep your eyes and ears sharp in order to take photos and unearth a chilling event that unfolded years ago.
WHY SHOULD I CARE: Well, this one is made by a GAF'er. More than that, while things like fixed camera-angles remind of older horror games, the title is surprisingly fresh as you play as a camera drone trying to capture footage and slowly being laid upgrades and solving light puzzles. Good atmosphere, interesting narrative, some fun twists.
WHAT'S THE CATCH?: Short a bit rough, and a bit easy.

Bad Mojo Redux
Price (USD): $1.49
THE GAME: Enter a world of perilous puzzles and bizarre perspectives--as a cockroach. What you discover may shock you. What you don't may kill you. Either way, you won't come out the same person. You may not even come out a person at all.
WHY SHOULD I CARE: Gritty and sometimes uncomfortable imagery with interesting social commentary, fun(ny) live-action scenes, with a unique tone that makes it an enjoyably disgusting experience.
WHAT'S THE CATCH?: The puzzles are sometimes very cryptic. Controls and detection on things off sometimes. About a 2-4 hour game.

Lucius
Price (USD): $1.49 ($6.24 for a pack with Lucius II)
THE GAME: Equipped with supernatural powers, take control of Lucius as he begins his blood filled tour of horror through his own house, using Hells powers of telekinesis and mind control to orchestrate deadly accidents that will minimize the population of the Dante Manor one by one by one.
WHY SHOULD I CARE: It's The Omen: The Game with you being a murderous little boy that's the anti-christ with gameplay kind of similar to Hitman but a bit more puzzle-focused. Mansion is big and fun to explore with nice secrets.
WHAT'S THE CATCH?: Less free killing, more puzzle solving of how to murder people without getting caught, usually through specific means.

Cold Dreams
Price (USD): $1.49
THE GAME: The protagonist of this game has a dream, which he sees every night, but this time, he can not wake up. He realizes that he's trapped in his own dream, and has no choice but to go through the cold and fear of his nightmare. The only hope of the protagonist is to follow a mysterious glowing sphere that, eventually, will lead him into the depths of his terrible dream, while leaving him frightening notes.
WHY SHOULD I CARE: Tranquil atmosphere with a few good scares, interesting story with multiple endings, areas off the beaten path to explore and delve deeper into the world, uses the dream setting well.
WHAT'S THE CATCH?: It's really short (taking the main path with no detours you can finish in 20 minutes), sometimes easy to get lost off the main path with no direction.

I Have No Mouth, And I Must Scream
Price (USD): $1.49
THE GAME: The adventure plunges you into the tortured and hidden past of five humans. Delve into their darkest fears. Outwit the Master Computer AM in a game of psychological warfare. Disturbing, compelling. An adventure you won't easily forget !!
WHY SHOULD I CARE: Cult Classic point'n'click with a story following an AI who's essentially become god who is torturing a certain group of people it is keeping alive from the rest its killed and brings them to abstract worlds related to their pasts they must solve and conquer. Fun story, puzzles, and moments.
WHAT'S THE CATCH?: Voice acting is hit and miss, game does show its age, maybe not as creepy/disturbing as it could of been.

Harvester
Price (USD): $1.49
THE GAME: You wake up one morning to a town full of strangers and inexplicable sights. You share your home with your not so perfect family and your supposed fiancee lives next door. Then you are plunged into a nightmare! Your fiancee is missing and you find a hideous bloody skull and spinal chord draped across her bed! Is it hers? What is going on? The only clue left behind is an engraved invitation for you to enter...
WHY SHOULD I CARE: One of the B-est games of all time. Over-the-top violence matched with silly and gorey FMV scenes and strange sidescrolling point'n'click where you can kill people by punching them to death and meeting the absolutely odd town people. Hilarious and crude.
WHAT'S THE CATCH?: Bit finicky controls, a few parts drag on, somewhat so-bad-its-good.
SCREENS:

Eldritch
Price (USD): $1.49
THE GAME: Eldritch is a first-person action game inspired by roguelikes, immersive sims, and H. P. Lovecraft. Unearth ancient secrets and find your way to freedom! Sneak, fight, and explore strange worlds! Invoke mystical powers to augment your play style! Randomly generated levels provide fresh challenges and opportunities!
WHY SHOULD I CARE: It's one of the better rogue-likes, mixing cosmic horrors of Lovecraft with some fun survival-action gameplay. It actually can be a bit unnerving despite the cartoony visuals, and addicting. Sometimes funny, sometimes creepy.
WHAT'S THE CATCH?: Maybe doesn't use the other-worldliness of Lovecraft enough and loses some of the magic when you understand how things work.

Alone in the Dark: New Nightmare
Price (USD): $1.74
THE GAME: From the moment Edward Carnby and Aline Cedrac set foot on Shadow Island, they are confronted by mysterious, evil creatures intent on thwarting their progress to recover 3 ancient tablets believed to hold the secret key to some incredible menacing phenomena. Danger threatens from every corner.
WHY SHOULD I CARE: One of the older Resident Evil clones, and actually one of the stronger Alone in the Dark games. It's actually pretty atmospheric and creepy. Two different characters with two very different campaigns and gameplay styles with some connections. Was one of the most graphically impressive PSX games and has a lot of nice little details and touches.
WHAT'S THE CATCH?: Old-school horror game may not be in everyone's taste, the Steam version can have some problems running/with resolution. Work arounds for the issues, but might need to fiddle around a bit and config files to get what you want from it.
