Only massive for some accounts apparently. But nothing totally to panic about, just monitor your stuff for a bit to make sure your not compromised.
 
Oh man, I can't decide what to get. I've got about $30 steam bucks and willing to spend a little more than that, but these are all the games that currently have my interest. I've been mostly away from Steam the last 2 years, so not entirely sure about all these survival games and the huge number of Early Access games.

Empyrion Galactic Survival - Looks promising
Space Engineers - I've heard it's good, but it also looks like a chore to play. I love space, but my system kind of sucks as well.
Hurtworld - Of all the survival games, this one appears to be the least janky. I couldn't handle the jankiness of DayZ.
Valkyria Chronicles - Enjoyed the demo years ago, but never played the full game.
Endless Legend - This just looks like a great game to really dig into.
Skyshine's BEDLAM - Enjoyed what I played at PAX, and will likely get this.
Running with Rifles - Concept sounds great, but completely uncertain.
Ys: Oath - Will probably get this. Started it on Vita a long time ago, enjoyed it.
Total War Shogun 2 - I really just miss RTS games.
Darkest Dungeon - This feels like a soon-to-be PS+ title to me for some reason?
Stick of Truth - I've heard it's great, but not sure if I want the cartoon in my rpg.
Distance - Looks like a great game to chill with.
Grim Dawn - Classes and aesthetics look great, but uncertain.
Endless Space - Looks solid.
Defender's Quest
UnderRail - Never really got into classic Fallout games, but for some reason, this intrigues me.

If anyone has any insight into any of these games and can help me out, would be much appreciated!
 
valkyria is a fantastic game in every way. it's accessible but challenging at the same time, has a pretty touching and satisfying story, looks great, etc.

100% recommended
 
Subnautica has a 30% discount, bringing it to 13.99$. If you don't have it and you like exploring/survival games with crafting/buildings, I highly recommend it.

Get Valkyria Chronicles, Ys (Ys Origins have a demo with a great boss fight) and Vampire Masquerade Bloodlines.

Oath in Felghana is how I got into Ys (thanks to GAF) so that's a good suggestion.

Valkyria Chronicles is great and the port is solid. Huge recommend.

I only played a bit of Stick of Truth but I liked it in a South-Park-meets-Paper-Mario sort of way.

The rest you're on your own, no knowledge one way or the other.

60 fps is certainly a huge improvement for Oath. I'd recommend you to try and include Ys Origin in your list, if you can.

Valkyria chronicles is a solid choice. Can't say much about the rest.

Valkyria Chronicles and Defender's Quest are the only ones I both own and actively enjoy, so I fully recommend one of them. Endless Legend and Endless Space are both OK but flawed, last I played them. Shogun 2 is cool but I'm completely incapable when it comes to the RTS sections--if you think you can get into them that'd be a good choice.

The others I have no opinion on.
 
I played the Witcher 3 on Xbone when it released and got tired of waiting for patches/fixes. I don't know if i wanna start all over again on PC. i put 30 hours on xbone. do you guys think it's worth it?

there're mods so it could probably make it a lot faster for you if you want to replay, could do things differently too, but if you're not sure it doesn't hurt to wait for a cheaper price and for the second expansion DLC to come out
 
if any of the cards you use to craft a badge have trading/marketpalce restrictions then the resulting items emotes/backgrounds/sales cards will have the restriction as well

Guess this has taken the place of the regular Steam thread.

I'm stunned at the representation of Undertale in the soundtrack of the year thread. Have yet to hear a track that stands out musically above the other contenders yet it's consistently placed first.

Repetitive, energetic chip tunes must be GAF's thing. Which I'd understand if it were something like Shovel Knight's OST, but count me as confused.

not sure! but there are things like fast travel from anywhere (just remember not to fast travel during mission) that makes things a lot quicker, minor things like having larger inventory right off the bat would save you time too from managing items, and unlocking level restriction for armors

I think the soundtrack is great, it has a bunch of stand out catchy tunes that a lot of games lack. Its definitely one of the best of the year for sure.
 
Is Kerbal Space Program as good as it looks or should I wait a bit longer and get it at a greater discount? It looks like it might scaratch that cities skylines get-lost-for-hours itch I crave, but I don't know.

Anyone know if Steam does single item refunds from bulk purchases yet? Last time I tried to do this it removed and refunded the entire purchase even though I only had 1 thing selected

Check out Heartache, Metal Crusher, Bonetrousle, Hopes and Dreams, Its Raining Somewhere, Core, Finale, Amalgam, Here we Are, Megalovania, and the main theme Undertale itself.

Its not just that they're energetic chip tunes, but kind of unique compared to what you'd usually here. Also some of the tracks that use realistic instruments just flow so well with the chiptunes themselves. That and the feelings they have the ability to inspire, even if you've never played the game. Thats the hallmark of a great soundtrack.

Also I have a soft spot for "Can you really call this a Hotel, I didnt receive a mint on my pillow or anything".
 
I bought Mad Max and a few other games, then later requested a refund on Mad Max. Steam refunded the entire order instead of just Mad Max. Is this normal?
