Those are the the only things that gets official translatations. :(
For some reason, handhelds get the proper games, PC gets smut.

Thats not true at all.

Mangagamer also has titles like Dengeki Stryker, Edelweiss, Higurashi etc. where the point of the VN isnt the sex, but the story.
SekaiProject almost only has those games.

But in the VN bundles you often only get the nukige/sex VNs.

The damage so far:

  • Aarklash: Legacy
  • Her Story
  • Hexcells Complete Pack
  • Kairo
  • Life is Strange
  • The Old City: Leviathan
  • Oniken
  • Ori and the Blind Forest
  • Reveal the Deep
  • Undertale
  • Why Am I Dead At Sea
Still have about 4€ to spend, any recommendations? I'd like to get a couple horror/atmospheric games too.

Yeah, but for every Higuyrashi chapter Mangagamer releases, they release 3-4 nukiges.
That's simply tragic.

Look past the nukige and look at the quality titles, because those are the ones that matter and those are the ones worth waiting for.

I've been considering picking up Undertale, Tranistor and SOMA but I haven't pulled the trigger. I've been playing Destiny, Halo 5, Fallout 4, Rise of the Tomb Raider and and Hearthstone as is...I'm worried if I buy them I'll never play them.

Transistor is overrated, I think it's a bad game with good art style just like Bastion was.

Undertale and Transistor are both really good.

I feel Bastion was overrated (still good, just overrated), but Transistor lives up to the hype IMO.

Of the 3 I'd say get Undertale.

Transistor and SOMA are stupidly overrated imo.

This is bullshit. I played Hatoful Boyfriend Holiday Star for 4.2 hours. I only got 2 out of 3 cards. I never refunded a game! :(
Can't continue the episodes without spoilering the first game for me. Already did all sidestories...

Leave it running on the title screen or use idlemaster if you want the last card so bad. Yeah card drops now takes forever.

I'd only get Undertale if you have a gamepad. The keyboard controls are terrible and you can't even rebind keys. I was two minutes from doing a Steam refund until I plugged in a DS4.

I really want to pick of Tales of Zesteria on PC but I can't seem to find any good deals, is Steam selling it at the lowest right now? I could easily get it for £20 for PS4 but with all these JRPGS popping up on Steam lately I'd rather go with that.

ATM yes it appears Stema has the cheapest price, if possible consider checking with traders to see how much they'd offer it.

Gamesplanet had it for 24.99€ and Game UK had some advent deal a few days ago for 17.50£. If you can wait a bit, it'll be cheaper soon again.

Is Elliot Quest similar to Castle in the Darkness?
I quit CitD because of all the precision platforming between spikes and shit, it just got to be too much.
And so I don't want to buy Elliot Quest if it's anything like that.

Help?

I had fun with it, still need to go back and play some more. Only played the normal difficulty, took me 8 hours to reach the win condition. Still have to go back and try advanced and export modes, and the dev seems to add new things with each patch and listening to feedback. I can see how it might get a bit repetitive around the 20 hour mark, but I suppose most sims/tycoon can fall into that. Basically if you're in the mood for a good tycoon/management game its a great game, especially compared to what's out there(not much).

okay I'll keep an eye

Did 2 more radio episodes which didn't contain spoilers and right after I finished them I got my last card. All is well... :)

I even made threads about it but the silly GAFfers never bothered to reply, prob. cuz it wasn't on the glorious PS4 :V

I received some Amazon credit from some relatives. Some of the games I want are on there (Cities Skyline), but others are unavailable (This War of Mine, Ori, and Undertales). I would normally buy Steam cards and transfer it over, but that's not possible without a hard delivery, which is impossible for my situation. Could anyone assist me on this front? Transferring Amazon credit in exchange for steam credit may be the ideal route (I'm looking at $39 here)

God dammit, Gabe! The stupid store keeps clearing out my kart when i have a bunch of things in there. Probably related to the outages being reported and the volume of users due to the sales, yesterday's incident can't have helped either.

Gah, i had 18 items in the kart and i won't remember half of them... i suppose that's a good thing in a way :)

jeez, I can't leave you or steam even for several days, just caught up (as much as it's possible) on all privacy breach disaster, one would think that after they took like two months to answer my last ticket, I'm ready for anything, yet... I'm still left speechless by how they handled all situation. They really don't give a damn about anything, do they?

Is steam still half dead because of that?

All right, I think I got just about everything I'm going to get for this sale yesterday:

- Undertale
- Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
- Soma
- Never Alone
- Ryse
- Life Is Strange
- Dying Light

Which one of those games is shortest? I've been kind of grinding my way through MGSV, The Witcher, Fallout 4 and Pillars of Eternity the past several months so I think I'm getting a little burned out on sprawling open worlds and need a nice short game for once. Never Alone, Undertale and Ryse are all pretty short (less than 10 hours), right?

Yeah, what I do is add each game to my cart using separate tabs as this way I can easily re-open the store pages using the previous cart page if attempting to add the next item instead empties the cart.

Ryse is about 5 hours long.

Is cities skylines easy to get into? Or maybe prison architect?

Not played a would building strategy game for years and haven't got a game of this type in my library.

Just haven't got the time to commit to one game. I'm juggling to many balls at the moment.

Cities: Skylines is definitely accessible from anybody, to the point that to veterans of the genre feels absurdly easy.
As a newcomer, you may need to understand how some mechanics work, while we take them for granted, but all in all C:S simulates more building a diorama than running a city. So, should it feel to hard to approach (and I don't think so), just go in with unlimited money and experiment as much as you want. Eventually, that's what you're bound to do anyway. :D

Prison Architect, on the other hand, is totally hardcore.
You can take it easy and slow, limiting the prisoners intake, but eventually something or someone is gonna catch fire and there you need to be super prepared or skilled to properly overcome the crisis.

I rarely login to Steam via the browser but i might start doing that for my more impulsive impulse purchases where i impulse buy 20 games after browsing for 3 hours :(
Even having many Client web windows open i rarely have trouble but yeah, stupid to do it at Christmas i suppose :)

Still, at least i know what i'm doing for the next hour or so... Indie Game and Bargain Hunt Round 2! :)

Of course D4 has to be in the bundle immediately after I bought it.
Not going begrudge it this time, apparently Swery needs all the money he can get for that second season and that other game everybody wants.

I think that's not true at all anymore in 2015.

I mean, you can buy Higurashi on Steam.

yeah you can, yet people keep buying Sakura games and ignoring Higurashi...

I like you.

If you also buy Way of the Samurai 4 that'd be swell.

I did my part too and got it on playism while it was on sale.

Good, I like you too.
Way of the Samurai 4 has redheads :)
