13-2 is more focused than FF13 and is ultimately the better game. It still isn't that great.

However if you were going to bother to play it, and I wouldn't recommend doing so, you need to get through FF13 to make it a little worthwhile. Good luck with that.

yeah....maybe I'll skip it then. I'm finding as I get older I don't have as much time for games, so I have to be picky about what I play. Thanks for the advice.

Woah. Going through the discovery que every single day since Steam started it has finally paid off. Now I only gotta go through one que each day and Steam just runs out of games to show me and decides to give me three cards. I think I've gotten at least that many per day since the sale started.

You could use the Backup system instead.

I keep asking people if they could send me Steam backups of certain games on DVD-Rs or something. Then I'd just buy the license on Steam.

But whatever. Visiting family for Christmas and since I was able to bring my laptop and they've got Time Warner Cable with no data cap I can finally get Wolfenstein.

My haul this sale:

Spec Ops: The Line
The Talos Principle
Broforce
Life is Strange
The Last Remnant
Tomb Raider I, II & III
Murdered: Soul Suspect
Shadowgate
Hard Reset
STASIS

Hoping someone can help me with this -

I've been on holiday in the Philippines for just over 2 weeks now, and every time I opened Steam to buy stuff on it it was still showing UK prices (good)

However today I opened it and it's showing Philippine prices - what should I do? How do I get the UK prices back? Cus it won't let me buy anything like this, right, unless I have a Philippine payment method?

I'm ashamed to say AC: Rogue looks pretty appealing. The narrative - as an Assassin gone rogue to the Templar side - sounds awfully fascinating. In terms of gameplay it looks like Black Flag 2, which - aside from the atrocious combat - I found very refreshing after two disappointing entries (AC:R and III). I also hear it performs rather well on PC?

I'll hold off for now, but it's in my wishlist for the near future. I expect the price to go down rather quickly.

Go to Account Details. Top right should be something about update store country.

Do I want The Talos Principle? With the coupon it's pretty cheap, but it's got a bunch of DLC that drives the price up considerably. And I'll be pissed if they release a new version or something.

Do you not have the option in the cart to pay pounds?

I've been in Australia since February but Steam never switched over. Which is good because Hotline Miami 2 wasn't banned. :p

Good Luck!

Can anyone else not log in?

Between the half-assed nature of this sale and these constant server problems it's a fun time to use Steam.

^Yeah I'm getting that error too. I wasn't really planning on buying anything for this sale but then I saw on the front page the talos principle for $10 and was like sure why not

The only noteworthy DLC really is Road to Gehenna. The other stuff is like soundtrack and mild curiosities like making of videos.

It was released on consoles as the Deluxe edition, which had the main game and Gehenna. Can see them doing a new version named that but it's not likely to be a much better deal.

Is steam down or something? I can log in but then can't actually do anything

EDIT: looks like it is, above person has same problem

Apologies if this has been mentioned before, but I like to list the games and sort by price, but when I get to like page three or four, I get this:

No results were returned for that query.

What gives?

Yes. You do. You really, REALLY do.

All of the DLC aside from Road to Ghenna is worthless, don't buy it. Most of it's on youtube, and the prototype levels are just uglier versions of the main game with very small differences.

Which coupon?

A common error when their servers get a bit loaded. F5 until it loads. If the search resets, copy the address of one of the page numbers and put it directly on the browser.

Finished up Tales from the Borderlands

All the episodes were really good. Each in its own way. The soundtrack was great as well.

If Telltale pours as much heart into Batman as Tales I think they could do a lot of good things. A lot of potential there with their style and Gotham. Looking forward to it.

I soured on it halfway through myself. Unskippable dialogue is maddening when there's so many fail states (usually easy, but occasionally it surprises you).

I wanna pick up Syndicate, but the store tab of the client won't sign me in. When I try to I get an error message. Have signed out and signed back in twice but I'm getting the same thing.

The Total War Grand Master Collection, which includes Rome 1, Medieval 2, Empire, Napoleon, Shogun 2, Viking: Battle for Asgard and Total War Battles: Shogun, is currently £6.25 on the Game.co.uk website. Don't know if that's a price glitch, or if it's available to people outside the UK. But that's quite a deal. The collection is currently £30 on Steam.

Well I might have to buy this, been addicted to Nuclear Throne on Vita for a while now.
I Early Accessed Nuclear Throne on Steam, one of my favs. Worth getting, discount or not.

Speaking of no discount, I am tempted to get Helldivers at normal price. Does it need patching or run poorly on less than stellar machines? I have a laptop that chugs when running Arrowhead's Gauntlet on low settings.

I dipped on it, saw the post in Gaming about it. Accidentally bought because I originally thought Rome II was included. My mistake :P Still a great price though if you missed some of the Humble stuff a lot of DLC included.

Yeah, if it had Rome II included it'd be an amazing deal. But it's worth it for Shogun II, which is still a damn fine game.

picked up Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and was gifted undertale and rocket league so far.

thinking of picking up crypt of the necrodancer

It's saying I have to sign in to browse my Discovery Queue, but I'm signed into the client. It's just not showing me as signed into the store. Can't even see my wishlist. Any solution to this?
