Is Aviary Attorney actually any good?

I'm someone who appreciates stories and themes and characters in my games so I tend not to choose purely "fun" games as GotY, but I can see how from a gameplay perspective this deserves it easy, def. in my top 5. The only other game I can think of that gave me the sense of control this game has this year is probably Ori and the Blind Forest.

It's super funny and an absolute must have if you enjoy games like Ace Attorney. But keep in mind it's a pretty short game.

I also highly recommend Cities: Skylines. Great game, tons of replayability. I agree with any of these games, really, but Cities: Skylines would be my pick out of them.
Very good. Short though. Doesn't have nearly as much room to breathe as something like Ace Attorney that inspired it.

What's the best Worms game that I can buy with controller support and local multiplayer with one controller?
I've only played it for like 8 hours since yesterday, but here's my thoughts as someone who had never played it before:
Yes, the controls are simple enough that you should be able to have fun without having to climb the admittedly ridiculous skill ceiling the game has in order to feel rewarded or satisfied, you don't need hours of practice to feel useful to your team. The matchmaking system is also decent enough that at least I haven't felt super-outmatched by anyone in any of the games I've played so far, and I think I'm very, very far from being a good player. I'm convinced you could play this casually and have tons of fun.
Absolutely. Every single cent. Be sure to know what you're getting into, a quirky charming RPG though.

Absolutely correct. I've spent half a day in time that could've been spent doing something productive and I don't care. It's a great balance of competitive and casual. I get amped in every single game I play even when it's not going my way.
Fantastic local support too. It's nice to see 4 player split-screen in a popular game from 2015. My GOTY for sure.

Rocket League is easy to pick up and play, but difficult to master - learning and getting better is all part of the fun and challenge of it, and the balance in this regard is perfect, I reckon. There's a great time to be had, regardless of skill level.
I'm still relatively crap, and play only against the AI for now while I work on getting better, but I've enjoyed every minute with it.
So basically, I'm looking to spend up to $20. I can't decide if I want to get Dying Light or a couple other games: Undertale, Wolfenstein: New Order, Rocket League, Shadowrun: Hong Kong, Max Payne 3, or Sunless Sea. I'm just about burnt out on Fallout 4 and I wouldn't mind something with a plot I actually care about or just some good ole' fashioned fun. I'm paralized with indecision.

if you want something with a plot then i recommend you stay the hell away from dying light
the gameplay is alright but no joke it's some of the worst writing in a aaa game ever

Is there anything I should know about using a dualshock 3 controller for a Windows 8.1? I read some people have issues with it. The drivers are automatically installing at the moment. I know some people refer to getting MotionJoy, but I've read it requires to be online at all times, which is impossible at my current home and it's a malicious program to boot.

Not sure how I feel about this Plague Knight expansion. Currently it just feels kind of odd, especially with jumping. But the again a shift in gameplay style will do that.

You can score auto goals left and right like I do and the game shows the other team did, noice
Reloaded, Revolution, and Clan Wars all are well designed around local multiplayer with a single controller.
Hard to say which is the best one though, haven't played enough of any of them. Check the reviews.
ScpToolkit is the current DS3 driver and is really easy to install.
I use MiJ, it isn't bad if you know how to remove the malicious always online stuff, but ScpToolkit is better if you simply want the controller to work and don't need button remapping functions.
They are most definitely not better on Vita. Buy 'em.

I dig Satellite Reign.
Fair warning though it is not very well optimized. Ambitious Unity games which means even on good rigs it might suffer.
It's also a fair bit more stealth oriented early on. You can engage man to man but it is very tough at the start. After some upgrades though it's doable.

Yeah I was skeptical and held off, but I grabbed it with steam gift money and won't be finishing the witcher 3 till mid 2017.
Personally I am so crap at the game I had near zero enjoyment with it. I felt frustrated the entire time I played and was not going to put up with that for hours to "get good".
