Hey big ups to the guy who recommended Cosmic DJ! Best $0.79 I've ever spent. It's a little short, but highly recommended!
I'm going to give this one a try. Steam search seems busted this sale though, it wouldn't show up at all whether I wrote "Cosmic" or "DJ". I had to go to Google to find it.

I guess I got the "bad" ending in Aviary Attorney. :(

So bad, in fact, that it turns out that the ending hasn't even been written into the game yet! It's a shame, really, since the first two acts were pretty great and the third act turned out to be pretty bad and (dare I say?) incomplete. The developers said they would have it done in "a few days" and that was 7 days ago. I guess I can cut them some slack since it was Christmas and all, but the further I look into this the more it just seems rushed despite the other delays.

Oath is the best balance at being a good picture of the series and also being the best one in general.

This thread i mad for the series tells you all you need to know :3

Every Ys game is a great game.

Gameplay wise, i'd recommend you choose Oath, origin and Ark. Otherwise if you want to play according to order and have no issue with playing older games then I would recommend this:

Ys I + II -> Oath -> Origin -> Ys VI

Though some would say that Ys VI would be difficult to get into after Oath and Origin (Wasn't an issue for me, but I can see that view). So if you're only interested for the gameplay:

Ys VI -> Oath -> Origin

Thanks for the Info all. I ended up picking up Oath. Woo!

I dig Satellite Reign.

Fair warning though it is not very well optimized. Ambitious Unity games which means even on good rigs it might suffer.

It's also a fair bit more stealth oriented early on. You can engage man to man but it is very tough at the start. After some upgrades though it's doable.

Yeah it's pretty rough though some of that seems to be an issue with the latest patch 1.06, others were reporting 1.04 was much better. Might also be an AMD thing.

I think I caught indie fever, someone help....not my first purchase this sale either....lol

I'm leaning towards a purchase, but it feels like a weird title. Everything you read about it sounds promising, but there seems to be very little enthusiasm about the game. It seems like all talk about it went away as soon as it was released.

ScpToolkit is the current DS3 driver and is really easy to install.

I use MiJ, it isn't bad if you know how to remove the malicious always online stuff, but ScpToolkit is better if you simply want the controller to work and don't need button remapping functions.

ScpToolkit sounds perfect for my needs. Appreciate it!

While back..received Borderlands 2. Looking at DLC..what do I even want/need...?

Play the game first, and decide if you want more for it. I bought the game + quite a lot of DLC during a previous sale, and quit the game after 10h, as it didn't work well as a single player game.

Just Cause 3 on PS4 is playing suprisingly good. Of course it's not 60 FPS and all that stuff, but it's fully playable for me.

So far I would recommend the game only for people who just wants more of Just Cause 2.

are there some games that are better or a benefit on console

talking games like

witcher
mad max
batman
just cause
split second
burnout

I don't want to buy for pc if there is a sell or a game that is as good or benefits play on consoles in some ways.

I own a couple of games on console and wouldn't want to buy a game again and have it being worse :)

Holy shit guys.

Rocket League is incredible.
I recently tried it, and I guess it reflects badly on my degree of jadedness that I was extremely surprised at an "internet phenomenon" game actually being good.

Of course, as a hipster nerd I have to add that it's basically "just" an updated version of Uniball, which all the cool kids played 15 years ago, because it was similarly awesome.

it's an upgraded version of the first game they made and still lacks a ton of modes and options imo

Damn, your hipsterness. I am finding about Uniball now and there's a Goosebump the Videogame. If only I can travel back 15 years with this new knowledge.

Fact of the matter is games are usually always going to look better on PC then consoles, the only way that usually isn't true would be a shitty port to PC or just dependent on your rig. Maybe your PC can't handle Just Cause 3 or Mad Max well, in that case it might be best to just get the console version. If your PC can run it then it usually just comes down to preference whether you want a usually better looking for version or maybe you more prefer to play X game with your friends on console, or attached to your trophies or achievements on console, etc.

For now Ill just be getting a laptop from a friend in then next 40 days or so (after they go to america)

it will be a I7, 16gbram - 970m laptop

Would this be able to push past ps4 and x1 to warrant the pc purchases as well as playing with controllers and doing it on a tv? Other than that, some games I could just get on my ps4 which is here now. (just some prices are a bit crappy here and there) Some games I can wait on anyways, isn't a big deal. I have a HUGEEEEEE backlog, on steam now as well.

In all fairness, this should be able to push past PS5 and X2.

I understand your joke, but I honestly wasn't sure a 970M would really be that far ahead of ps4 and x1. I am a noob.

Will I be able to hit max and near max settings with nice frame rates in top end games like battlefront

just installed Russian Horror Story from the recent indiegala bundle and my antivirus reported this in RHS.exe

does that look like one of those false-positives to you? i'm trying to google more about it but i have a finger on the report as harmful button

Yes. Dusk Golem, a GAFer with a game on Steam, mentioned the other week that it is practically impossible for developers to quietly publish an infected executable as Steam's backend runs a virus/malware check on all uploaded files.

Ah, did not notice the M part.
So, i7M and 970M?
Sounds about right on par with PS4/X1. :)

970M sits somewhere between the 960 and 970, so it's pretty decent. It should do well at 1080p I guess.
