My queue is messed up. I got one card for going through it before i went to bed and had 2 cards available for going through again. This morning? Nada. It's just going to one game and "View Queue" takes me back to the store. Oh well.

Edit: It must have been a caching/update issue as it worked after i restarted Steam and i have my daily cards. Yay? :)

BloodLust Shadowhunter

The game was made by one person (with a little help) over five years. The person in question is incredibly kind, as multiple people will report they would report an error or glitch, the developer would respond, release a patch to fix it the next day and then message to see if it was fixed for them, among other things. So supporting good devs is good.

But more-so, while the game is a bit rough around the edges, it is actually a pretty good hidden gem, and does in some ways scratch that Vampires: MB itch. It's got heart and some good execution, falters in a few places, but I've been enjoying it. Writing is good, as is atmosphere, combat is a bit clunky, but works. Has some old-school action-RPG aspects some may enjoy. It's not deeply discounted (25% off though was fully released recently), but going to recommend it due to the ambitious mostly successful game that's a bit of a hidden gem made by a good developer.

why? if you want good games you take the games people say are decent and you search them, if the video and game style suits you , you are able to buy it. Pretty simple.

If people dont list what they play or what is good then you have a near impossible chance of even knowing about the game or remembering it.

I bought it when it was released in alpha stage 2-3 years ago. It was great and all, but the installation process was an absolute mess back then so I kinda gave up on it after I formatted my PC. Shouldn't be a problem now when it's on Steam though, so I'm gonna give it a go with the G27 later.

I cant get over how much people screw over people who buy games day one. I paid full price for Borderlands the presequel at launch and dont regret it, however, now people can get the presequel + seasons pass for essentially the same price as I have to pay for the seasons pass. And I already gave them full price for the game.

Eh. I've gone from not having a whole lot of extra cash to spend on games (and thus, looking forward to steam sales) to having a whole lot of extra cash to spend on games and I'd much rather get a 60 dollar game at release and play it than wait a certain amount of time to be able to fit it into my budget.

I agree and I don't mind spending $60 on a game day one, but why do people buying a game day 100 get the game for free when they buy the seasons pass and us Day 1 buyers pay essentially the same price but dont get the game for free. I dunno, its not even a money thing it's the principle.

Cause the game has much less value to the publisher at day 100 compared to day 1. I get what you're saying, though I'm not bothered by it at all.

That's the usual these days, though. Game prices fall quick and it's up to you to decide if it's worth waiting or not.

Got a foil holiday card as well, ooo aaaa. Do these confer some secret specialness on a badge or is it better to sell them?
 
I think my last buys are gonna be DLC for the free-to-play games (Dota 2, Marvel Heroes, Ghost Recon Phantoms etc.), so that they'll stick to my library even when uninstalling. And then I'll buy some DLC for the normal games, like Xcom: Enemy Within and the stuff for The Evil Within and PayDay 2. Finally I'm gonna pick up Black Mesa (never played Half-Life 1), Final Fantasy VI (will stop my playthrough on iOS, thanks to the patch), Lords of the Fallen: Deluxe Edition, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen and Resident Evil Zero: HD Remaster.

Oniken! 50cents NES-style action-platformer. even a demo for it too.

Sell the foil unless you plan to buy all of the other 10 foils to make the foil badge.
 
So with the humble monthly bundle, new subscribers get a free game from the last bundle. So wouldnt it be in the consumers best interest to buy the bundle every other month, so you get a free game every other month?

I liked Love At First Sight
It's a dating sim style kinetic VN with an interesting art style. The game is around two hours long and created by one person. I found it to be quite charming for what it is.
