Just bumping this forward one last time. Only three of the 94 games remain that I first put up to give away. Again, this isn't resubmitted to Modbot so if you got a game from the large list you won't be eligible for one of these. But I figure a different crowd might see these at this time of day to take my last few games:

i just got my first foil trading card (taffy), what would you recommend i do with it? turn into gems or go for a lvl2 badge? or trade it for a few cards from other games?

Afterbirth is definitely a step up, if you're worried about that. Greed Mode and Daily Runs are worth the price of admission alone.

I don't doubt it would be a good purchase but after how much I've spent on games just this year alone I can't really justify it right now

Errrm...?

A big time sink... Yeah, probably not for me at the minute. Starting a new job in the new year so I'm going to be quite busy. Think I'll be better off with something more pick up and play.

That's only a very small part of the game, please don't be discouraged by that tiny thing.

And it's not just any Metroidvania, it's my favorite entry into that genre in a long time.

I should give it another try but I just couldn't be arsed to attempt the difficulty presented. I had zero motivation for it, and I fucking loved SMB so I went into Ori with a thirst.

Next year though, got too much going on right now.

Like Smash TV you say? On the wishlist it goes!

You should give Iron Fisticle a looksie - best SmashTV styled game I've played in a long time. Got RPG-lite experience/unlocks that persist from game to game, psuedo-random dungeons, boss fights & co-op. Really, really enjoyed it.

Are the Borderlands 2 Headhunter DLC's worth? There are five of them.

Each one is a fairly large, single area with a multi-part story quest. There is usually a single mini-quest available after completing that one. The levels are well designed and the environmental themes are diverse for each one.

If you have not played them before each one will probably take around 1-2 hours to complete. They are set after the main game so you can get some interesting dialog in some of them.

The Turkey one is generally considered the weakest.

If I pick up a bundle as a gift, are the individual games locked together, or can unwanted parts be given away by themselves?

Bundles on the Steam store (assuming you mean those and not humble bundles/etc.) are all locked together, so you can't selectively take what you want and give away the rest (no discounts if you own part of the bundle, either).

Thank you, pal!

Thanks for the answers. I keep coming back to the X-wing/TIE Fighter bundle, but I already have some of the original CDs. Not sure where, but I have them.

Small warning about Ori and the Blind Forest; there's a definitive version coming early 2016, so you may want to wait untill then.

Ended up buying the following:

Styx
Snakebird
Mushihimesama + DLC + OST
Crypt of the NecroDancer
Downwell
and a gift copy of Never Alone.

Still got $13 left but not sure what to get or whether to buy anything. Also, about Ori and its definitive edition, I'm certain the developer said it would be cheaper to buy it on sale now and upgrade versus waiting for the new edition.

How's Styx, as a fan of Dishonored and Metal Gear?

It plays a lot like Dishonored at times. The game consists of seven chapters and each chapter consists of multiple levels where you have a main objective and a side objective. The levels themselves are mostly large and very open allowing for lots of possibilities. It's great fun trying to figure out the best route to your objectives. So don't expect another Thief with its disappointing linearity.

Styx is a pure stealth game and combat is discouraged. The hardest difficulty makes it so that guards kill you in one hit. Also, the combat itself is not that interesting. On each chapter you can earn insignia's for a certain playstyle. Shadow (no alerts), merciful (no kills), swiftness (timebound) and thief (steal all the collectibles). You receive experience after each chapter (extra for side-objectives and insignia's) which can be spent on skills. The most distinguishable skill is cloning in which you can produce clones to solve puzzles and distract guards.

It is however a fairly low-budget game so don't expect the polish of Dishonored either. The voice-acting is fairly forgettable, the graphics and animations aren't all that hot and some jank should be expected.

$13?

You can get Way of the Samurai 4 (http://store.steampowered.com/app/312780/) and a 0.50 game of your choice :)

You won't regret it.

For those of you asking about Ori, it's one of the most sublime experiences I've had in a game. There are moments where I put down the controller after a major sequence and thing to myself: wow, that was fun.

I bought the following mostly on an impulse:

The Talos Principle
Sunless sea
Aaruu's Awakening
To the moon
Hands of Fate

How did I do and are there any other must buys?

That's a really nice list.

As others said, Ori is great. I'd also recommend Way of the Samurai 4. You can't have too many samurais on Steam (or steamed samurais)
