Last two were superb in terms of games to me. Obviously depends on how many games you own but Banished and Rust I believe were pretty great to see there. I never bought one of the Monthlies though, "gambling" on games I might want a lot is not really enticing.

It's at the very top of your badge tab, not sure how is it possible not to see it.
I don't see how not talking solves the problem, it's better to know what to expect, even that doesn't save you from backslash (like FF0, for example), but at least some people will make informed decision and won't hold you accountable for not telling.

- write password but game recognizes it as all caps so it doesnt work

- alt-tab, both my TV and my monitor go entirely black. nothing to do

Yep, it's a disaster.
Deadly Premonition was one of my favorite games of 2010. It deserves a waaaaaay better port.
I should start a steam curator for "Games that start at a random-ass non-native resolution"
and it should start affecting people's buying criteria

I've been on the edge about Dirt Rally. I didn't play much Dirt 3 so I felt like I could be making a similar mistake. But damn am I glad I went back to it! Dirt 3 takes a while to get going. But once you're over the hump of the shitty gymkhana events you get into some amazing races. The first Trailblazer event was enthralling, the night races on Monte Carlo in the original Mini Cooper. Initially my problem with the game was GFWL, the annoying chummy voice overs and the overall structure of the career. But you can actually get by just doing the events you care about really.
I suggest anyone who has this game lingering in their library to revisit the Steam edition. Codies are very smart doing that port because it's the best advert for Dirt Rally for me. Definitely going to be picking that up in 2016 when it gets a larger discount.

Now, I haven't actually ever booted up the game, but it's supposed to fix the game. Or at a least make it look and run pretty.
Also, the looking upwards thing might be a joystick deadzone. Did you play with a gamepad or had one hooked up?
The framerate still dives no matter the fixes. It's due to PC uptime and they never fixed it.
Terrible PC port.

. I had a similiar experience with The Wolf Among Us, that included it saying "can't connect to server", when I entered my username instead of my email.

There's a free version that you can play now, it's pretty fun but really one sided in terms of balancing, once you figure out what to do as the Dad the baby is fucked and it's impossible to win.

It seems to be themed or something, first day I was getting only survival multi games that I think are least fun possible game to make.
And yesterday (or was it before yesterday?) I was getting platformers for the most part.

Never heard of it, but it looks good!
I don't know why, but I want this to be Carmen San Diego or a game like this that isn't edutainment.
I had it all last summer sale, it was because my inventory and badge pages weren't loading all that time. So first thing is to check if community servers are working, second - can you access your badge page, third, because valve changed how cookies work, you might need logout and login again into the idlemaster.
Idlesmaster is working here for me just fine.
Thanks for reminding me that I still haven't played it...

Have you tried restarting Windows? For some reason it runs really poorly after you've first installed it.
