AoW 3 - Better tactical combat
Endless Legend - Better world building 4X

If you want fantasy Civ, get Endless Legends. If you want fantasy world conquest via tactical combat, get AoW 3.

And honestly, I'd just get the base game of either, it will entertain you for plenty long enough until the other stuff is cheaper. For that matter, you could get the base games of both for the cost of the full versions of either.

It's a competent match-3 game that has a nice escalating difficulty. Getting all the achievements might require you to restart the game once or twice, though.

it's impossible
you will hit an upper wall
the game was never designed for kb/m and is playable for sure, but there is totally a ceiling that will be hit.

I really wish I played ori earlier. It scratches that itch perfectly, other platformers I find too annoying in either combat or platforming but this rides the line well. Beautiful game to boot.

I kinda see where you're coming from, but it is nowhere near being an actual issue imo. Most if not all of the 9 games with Souls in the title are good games, no reason to avoid them just because they share a word.
