More people should play Alice. It's very depressing once you "get it" but isn't insulting in the process. It also plays host to a very pretty campaign, if you can forgive the repetition that tends to define the last leg. To this day, The Art of Alice remains the one and only art book I own, but last I checked Amazon no longer stocks it.

I was gifted this when it was pretty new (or traded for it or something) and it ran like shit on my old pc with an i5-2500k + HD 6850.
Maybe the game just hated ATI cards.

Technically yes. Reading up on it R* added a bunch of options to smooth over things that may be problematic in first person. So doable at least.

There is not a single card word gemifying, I'm actually glad valve did it this way very much, or it would kill card market for good.
Let's do some math, let's say you can sell a card for 3 cents, but you don't want to and you gemify it for 5 gems as you say, now at highest price gems are 70 cents for one thousand, that's 0.07 cents for one gem, meaning 5 gems are worth only 0,35 of cent, meaning you trade your 1 cent for 1/3rd of it. As I said it's total waste, never ever gemify cards, sell them, even if they are dirty cheap.
Only cheap backgrounds and emotes are worth gemifying and their prices usually stay at the level that you get same amount of money if you sell them or turn to gems, you know, free market and all that stuff.

Well for one, I want the Uplay points that apparently requires a party of 4. For the other, I tried the first one I found that is level 2 solo and apparently to get the investigation stuff without a huge fight you need at least 2-3 people to take down two guards near each point. :/
