Speaking as a Sonic fan, ehhhh. It's trying to be Mario Galaxy, with Koopalings in tow, but it's not very good at it. They did improved a few quality of life things for the PC version, but stripped out the multiplayer and Nintendo-themed DLC levels, unfortunately.

Sonic's new controls can be clunky, and they even behave slightly differently in different situations, a massive no-no.

Unofficial mod support is moving fast, for what it's worth.

If you haven't played Generations before, pick that up instead.

Does anyone remember that multiplayer game that was in alpha a while back where you played a spy and someone else was a sniper and they had to watch the crowd at a party for unnatural reactions to find out who it was? What was it and how is it doing?

Double Dragon Neon has been bundled 1000 times, and Shantae Risky's Revenge and Goosebumps have been bundled as well.
I imagine Ducktales wouldn't be on it. I might just buy it now that you've remembered me, lol.
 
I have been enjoying satellite reign but I'm feeling the indie. It's pretty poorly paced early on. I got to what I assume now I'd the last walkthrough mission to get a clone and it just so abruptly ended that I thought it was bugged. Did it over again about 5 times before I checked a youtube video to find out that's just the way it is. Now it leaves me doing whatever but all my guys are still level 1 so I can't really do any level 2 hacking things or anything. It's a little awkward. Imo the "main" quest line should continue for a bit longer, at least get your guys to level 2 and give you a natural segway into the city missions.

That said, still really liking it. It is so the original syndicate. Been wanting a game like that for ages.

As a side note, how is 7 days to die? I'm thinking about one more $10 game to finish the sale for me and that had been on my wishlist for a bit.

Keep in mind the games got DELISTED from steam, so you're not only getting +3s but some of the best platformers in the genre.

Do you guys think Fable Anniversay is worth it at $6.99?

I have good memories of the original game. Is it a good port?

Also, not sure why but I think I'll finally buy Duke Nukem Forever.
 
Finally worked myself up into buying a few games. Not as happy this year with the sales but that's probably due to owning a lot more games over the years.

I miss daily deals and stuff, but I also don't mind this format. Quite a conundrum.

i got the game during the sale , finished it in like 5 hours , the game was fun at 1st and the controls didnt feel that bad after 10 minutes of me getting used to them , but later the game started to feel less fun and more annoying to me , i guess thats because the level design of some stages tried to copy mario galaxy a little too much without considering sonic movement imo, also the bosses are boring.
 
Playing Grim Dawn is like playing Diablo 2 all over again. There are zombies, spiders, and more zombies and spiders. So glad I bought it on this winter sale.

Achievements are not in yet though, and I wonder whether I'll have to do everything all over again from the beginning when it hits to unlock them or not.
 
I'm kind of thinking about getting Axiom Verge, but knowing my luck, it'll be announced for Wii U (or NX?) before I actually get around to playing it.

Any comments? Length? Compared to Super Metroid, etc.?
