I did it this year. I managed to get ahead by playing a lot of shorter backlog titles early in the year. I'm kind of torn on what to do this year. I'd like to burn a lot of backlog but I would also like to be "in the moment" this year by playing a lot of big titles when they release. For example right now I am playing Fire Emblem Awakening and XCOM so I have them finished in time for the new ones. If I try to play Persona 3 and 4 and things like Kingdom Hearts it's going to take up a lot of time.
