Are you guys going to try to do the 52 games, 1 year thing this year?
I got to 28 games in 2014 and 25 games in 2015.
I bet I'll finish even less this year.
I will try this year after falling short with 47, though managed 64 in 2014 though I should be able to do it this year if I make sure to tackle some more of the shorter games I have in my library.

It was a jam game Ludosity did for one of the Humble Bundle jams a few years ago. You got the original version from buying that bundle for charity.
This seems like a polished up version of that game.
But that means I have to have a Games with Gold account.
Are they going to try to charge for online on PC? That shit is dead in the water if they pull that move.

I'm in. Last year I finished 67 games and in 2014 I finished 63. This is going to be another great year of gaming.
I'm quite interested in seeing how Microsoft justify free online play for PC gamers playing their first party games, but paid online play for Xboners.
I still can't figure it out.

Isn't KI free to play though?
The same way they did with GFWL for years (including even starting with a fee and then removing it only for PC players).
It'll actually be easier now that they toss in a few games with the sub on console.
KI isn't free to play. The give out a single character on rotation every month or so. It's much closer to a demo.
Is there any way for a non-xbox owner to take advantage of this? Or maybe the pc package will just be priced in such a way that it basically gives you season one for free.

It's not a very good Free to play. I hope you enjoy playing SabreWulf for 6 months straight if you don't want to buy anything. The format now is more or less free big demo, and please pay for the rest.
There's no earning the characters for free, and the rotation is whenever they feel like it. i
@teeth A character a month is generous. They put them up whenever they want. They did a week of thunder, then hisako, only to have the last 6 months SabreWulf.
They don't rotate the free character? Ah well, I'll just be playing Chun-Li for 6 months straight instead (until Juri comes out)

Yeah it sucks, however the price for all characters comes to 20 bucks during sale time if you don't want the ultra packs (which then is just 40 bucks for all characters). Which isn't bad at all.

I thought the same thing. The "original" version of the game came out in June... then re-released in October. Yeah I'm sure that person who's been looking to play AK all this time will very happily go and pay $49.99 for it.

If you were previously using x360ce with the game, make sure you delete those files first from the directory, I had to do that before it would recognize mine.

I suppose that's not too bad. I'd rather pay for characters I want to use than wait for rotation, but not being able to earn them through play is a bit of a let down, given how that's almost standard in free to play games these days.
Crossplay with players who've got two years experience in KI on me isn't that appealing though.
This is kinda the most relevant topic I could find to post this in - To people with Cloud HyperX headsets, do you prefer the normal earmuffs (I think that's what they are called?) or the ones that come in the package?
The that are on the headphones suit me well. My biggest issue with those Headphone aare the controls for the volume and mic, you have no real way of telling how high your mic volume is.
