Noooo

Told myself I wasn't gonna buy anything else but that 25% off is calling me...
Never played DD on PS3 cause of the horrible frame rate.

Damn the sales! Damn it all to hell!

When does DD release?

25% is joke not a discount on digital games. No point picking games till they hit 50% at least.

The worst things about having to do a clean Windows install:

  • If you don't remember your Steam password and you do a reset, you're locked out of the community market for 7 days.
  • TFW: Your custom grid view icons are fucking GONE.

That is all.

The that are on the headphones suit me well. My biggest issue with those Headphone aare the controls for the volume and mic, you have no real way of telling how high your mic volume is.

I don't even use it, maybe I should try it but I hate having extra wires :/
I'll try the alter earmuffs, maybe they'll be more comfortable. Although the ones the normal ones are super, I'm just curious how they feel

it's so weird that the steam hardware survey asks you to send a list of your installed programs to valve

i mean i don't mind if u know what videocard i have but fuck off lol

I still use the Sony Pulse Elite Headset from a couple years ago but they have an issue with the sound going out on one of the sides (have to knock it a couple times to come back in so probably has a short or something)...maybe eventually I'll get another headset but it isn't something I'm worried about at the moment

Sunless Sea is really addicting, I'm glad I bought it in the sale. It's doing a great job of filling that single-player Uncharted Waters niche that's been empty for far too long.

I'm kind of in the old guard loving Titan Quest, but it' $4 right now, great action RPG in the flavor of Diablo or Torchlight, and I highly recommend it.

Also, Crate's Grim Dawn is the spiritual successor to Titan Quest (same developers Iron Lore, new studio), and it's only $15 right now. Technically it's not "out" until February, but it's content complete, and it's massive. You could easily put 50-80 hours into a single play through.

Both have 4 player coop. If you enjoy your isometric aRPG fix, definitely a worthwhile addition to any respectable backlog.

As long as valve doesn't start readibng my browserhistory, i'm ok with that.

Happy New Year everyone!

Just completed Shadow Complex Remastered.

Had it also on my X360, but got stuck so never completed it there.

It was pretty great, ending was a big pile of poop though.

The best thing with this is that I can now uninstall the Epic Games launcher. Woooo!

Ahhh no Alien??? Haha. Still really good: Mushroom 11, Talos Principle,Grim Fandango? Also Spelunky, Fistful of Gun, and The Masterplan.

Lol I just bought Mushroom 11 a few days ago and have played too much to refund because it's great. Oh well.

Incredible month if you didn't own everything.

Edit: Nevermind, not paying early for Alien when I have it. I'll get it eventually, lol.

Don't you just slip those felt pads in?

First person that quotes this can have Mushroom 11 but please actually play it, one of the best and mechanically innovative games of the year. Again, only quote if you will actually play it and be honest with yourself.

Edit: Gone

That's cool of you. I have it on my wishlist and I'm really interested.

It is kind of incredible the percentage of my Steam store purchases this year that ended up in bundle that same year (or one day after).

Re 4-6 + Revelations, DMC, Talos Principle, Besiege, Alien Isolation, Valkyria Chronicles, some Warhammer 40K games, other smaller stuff. It's got to be at least 70% of the money I spent on Steam that I ended up with duplicates of within months of purchase and much of that in these blind monthly bundles. Expecting Falcom bundle next week to make it 80%.

Anyway, beyond that.. pretty nice bundle. I did want Grim Fandango, and some of the ones I hadn't heard much about (Mushroom 11, A Fistful of Gun) look interesting.

I will buy a 4k TV tomorrow. Finally I can play (some) games in 4k.

How to do it well? My current monitor is just a 1680 monitor, so cloning would kinda defeat the purpose of using 4k.
Can I somehow configure BPM so that it shows on the 4k TV (as an extended desktop)?

Ordered for Alien, already own most of those games.

Windows will detect it as a second display, configure it as your main monitor to use games on your TV.

Grim Fandango is garbage? As in the port, or the game? I thought everyone said it was one of the best PnC games, besides the Monkey Island games I think. I wanted to check it out at some point.

RIP people who got the bundle for Isolation. Lol, what a fucking bait & switch.

considering the free game for subscribing had previously been from the bundle from the month before that does seem kinda shady to change all of a sudden

I wonder if that Alien "leak" was intentional to get some last minute subs for this bundle

Somehow in most Monthly Bundles I would have at least 50% of the games.

Ordered for Alien, already own most of those games.

What if the TV is like 3m away from my PC? I wouldnt really want to configure it as my main monitor, since I cant use my mouse/keyboard then.

I think Grim Fandango is a really bad game. Lots of annoying characters and terrible, terrible puzzles that are almost impossible to solve without a guide or stumbling around randomly smashing stuff together for hours. It's games like it that caused the genre to disappear for nearly a decade. Truly dreadful stuff that the wonderful art design can't save. I will never understand why it is held in high esteem.
I'd take +1 if still available
Taken sadly.

Somehow the Humble Monthly has had three bundles that I would call "very good" but that I'm not at all sad I missed.

It was the pinnacle of that genre. If you think it was terrible, you didn't like that genre. Which is fair, because I don't like that genre either. But it's a genre game, through and through.

I hope that a some point HB will refocus on the "real" humble indie bundles.

So you want all these other great bundles to just not happen? Because that's really stupid. The "real" indie bundles happen exactly as often as they always have.
