I didn't realize there was so much already, lord
It's a lot cheaper to just get the characters and stages, there are a lot of cool mii fighter costumes though which is where that adds up.

Oh got dammit. I was wrong about Valkyria Chronicles. It is not a simple pick up and play. There's all this nonsense about squads. Ughhhh

it's so worth it
I'm just going to Google a squad and go from there. I am far beyond micro managing games these days. It's just too consuming of my time. Maybe as the game goes on, I'll tinker. But right now, it's just overwhelming.

i just played the characters i liked, never did anything serious

it really is not that important

I bought the Cloud DLC. Still waiting for the others to get a sale or price drop. I'm definitely getting the Bayonetta DLC though cuz...you know you want to touch her.

I don't think Nintendo has ever put DLC on sale. I got lucky and managed to get Ryu, Lucas, and generic FE character #12 cheap from someone in B/S/T. I still need to track down the rest.

If you can find a 3DS player to split a pack with that's the best option, but there are a lot more Wii U only players.

I don't think I have added any friends on steam yet. Being in china sort of makes you feel a bit isolated... lol

Can you guys leave some account names.

Id like to add a few of you around and hopefully can play online with some folks in the future. Now may be impossible (bad connection) but I won't be in china forever :)

I am not getting the MKX DLC

If I get the Kombat pack, do I have everything, the way it is displayed on the store page is puzzling ?

the OT is dead (shame on you Gaf game is amazing) so ill ask here

In Rebel Galaxy, is there a reason to farm missions in the first system? I assume they are never ending, and I hear in later systems quests give more money. I only have the second ship for now and the story quest is sending me to another system

Sure thing: http://steamcommunity.com/id/tbwmaxi

Our timezones might be a little off but games/company can be had.

Everyone else feel free to add as well :)

Why is Shadowrun: Hong Kong showing up in my list of groups in the Steam client, but it isn't showing up on my Steam Community webpage? I don't even own Shadowrun Hong Kong. I can't even try joining the Shadowrun: Hong Kong group in order to leave it.

edit: found the Stop Following button on the Steam Community hub page for it. I think I might have clicked on Follow for it in the Discovery Queue

A question.

I know that we have IdleMaster, it's a great tool. I have recently found another tool named ArchiSteamFarm that doesn't require launching the Steam client - that can be useful for farming off a headless system, for example. Has anyone used it? Ie, is it safe to use or is it malware / any horror stories about it? (I guess I will have to check the source code anyway, but just in case I miss something and it's a known offender...)

Glad to see Darkest Dungeon positive reviews have raised back up to the top, I'm sure the negative ones over one patch turned some people away from a great game.

Might be easier to post a link to your profile page.

Feel free anyone: http://steamcommunity.com/id/bobnowhere/

Not sure, but I think you can "idle" multiple accounts at the same time Wouldn't be surprised if people using it are farming free key giveaways, might be why I can't sell those Paradise Island cards even at 4c each. If multi-account idling gets out of hand, Valve might step in.

Put your SteamID in your profile so people can find you easily if you don't want to post it in the thread or if it's different to your GAF name :)

I hopefully made my last impulse purchases of the sale and Darkest Dungeon was in there. I've just spent an hour in it and i'm enjoying it so far, if enjoying is a word you can use for Darkest Dungeon, I can see myself losing a few hours to this already.

Thread title should be updated to state that the sale will end in 24 hours time once the next store update occurs

I probably won't be playing a lot until I get my new laptop near Feb.

After my friend gets back from america. But at least I can still see what people are up to till then. Also added over 250 games or so from this sale so Im ready to go

Had steam for quite a few years but never had a pc to really go for it I guess

If I remember correctly there is no reason to stay in the first system. You will probably return there several times cause of other missions from other systems so just get out of there as soon as the game allows you.

I really liked Rebel Galaxy, my main problem with it is the absence of a real endgame. After a certain point I just stopped playing cause I had nothing else to do other than boring random generated quests. Overall I quite enjoyed my time with it, just wished it was a bigger game than it actually is.

I completely agree regarding synchronized farming using multiple accounts - I think this feature is just asking for trouble, I wouldn't do it if I were the author. Just to clarify, I am not after that feature, I am after not having to launch the Steam client, and my main concern is whether ASF is safe to use in terms of not phoning in your Steam credentials anywhere.

(I guess long term, I can patch the no-Steam-client thing into a custom version of IdleMaster / send pull request to jshackles just in case he finds it useful...)

I don't get those animu games, it's all teasing and you'd think if that's the fix you're looking for you'd actually want a little more than camel toe shots every 40 minutes. Just go to the 4 chan loli section or something.

Darkest dungeon had been sitting in my cart the whole sale. I ended up trading assume humble monthly extras and am pretty sure I've found my next time sponge. I also just googled some beginner tips and found out I've been missing a huge gameplay element (camp) so I can't wait to jump back in again and go for a longer dungeon.

Yea it's fairly optimistic/wishful thinking to hold out for a DLC sale from Nintendo. But on the other hand the Smash DLC really does add up to a lot.

I never thought about splitting the costs of DLC between platforms though. That's pretty useful. So you buy the pack on one platform and get codes for the other one?

Someone pls buy my ys origin booster pak already need that badly for buying FF7 for my last purchase ;_;

Btw daily reminder Crypt of Necrodancer is frigging great.

yeah if you're doing medium length dungeons camps are very needed.

Good guy Steam: Forces me to go through 500 titles in a week to prevent me from seeing Anime games anywhere on Steam ever again. Thank you mr. Not interested in this-button.

So how is Darkest Dungeon now for those that have it? Looked at the reviews and there are a lot of complaints that the devs way overtuned the difficulty at one point.

Seeing a lot of comparisons to Dark Souls which I don't find particularly hard (frustrating is the better word). Should I pay them any heed? Been keen on the game for a bit.

Most of negative review came from people that angry with added mechanic change.. which for me actually pretty cool like enemy corpse that must get rid off to rid enemy in báck row.

If you came in fresh I thonk you have no problem but you should aware it IS frustating game and can be came across as cheap.

Yeah, i just found that out after having to bail with 2 rooms to go. All my party were about to have heart attacks and one had died, the one i liked obviously. More torches and food for sure. I like it so far, it's easy to play but gruelling. I need to work out stress management that seems like a big thing here. With three of my party in stress relief i'm going out with a 3/4 new party so i take it i should redo the easier runs to build them up a bit?

yeah like I was saying a lot of the top reviews are back to positive now. Apparently it sounds like it was a group of people making new accounts and upping the negative ones because they didn't like the November patch. As of this patch most of those things you can now turn off in the options if they're too hard or rng for you. It's a great game, you just need to understand you may get a shitty run from time to time and people will die and you'll need to bring on new crew.

Yeah that can definitely be sad when you lose a couple characters that anchored your line-ups, but yeah basically run a few easier ones to build them back up a bit. Also sometimes its not bad if you need money to just make a run with no or very few supplies to really up you gold spent to gold earned ratio.

I was seriously considering Darkest Dungeon, but i got Rocksmith 2014 for xmas so I blew my wallet on the original plus export tool.

Maybe next sale. Wish they would happen slightly more often.

Seeing as I've bought nothing as a lot that interest me I already own, is there any hidden gems or anything I should get for the price in your opinion before the sale ends?
