Game made formation a big deal in the game, then abandons it at the lass boss, very lame.
Yeah I had to put on God Mode for that one. As my party stood, there was no way I could beat him otherwise or I would just be hitting my head against a wall until I somehow took him down. Great game otherwise
these two fights have been such a pair of unpolished shitty fights

the difficulty spike comes out of nowhere so you're super unprepared to encounter these super hard to hit dudes that can easily oneshot your entire party. i'm constantly reviving and healing using scrolls but even those ran out too

this stuff exposes why i don't like rtwp whatsoever, specially when you're gonna have 6 characters at once. it's impossible for me to follow and i end up pausing constantly to the point it might as well be turn based

it's a really shitty way to close out the game, i had to quit it to avoid getting really frustrated with it and i guess i'll just bump it down to easy if that's an option?

such a pity, it was a pretty much flawless game until now

The audacity of some people, wanting to buy a game from you and complain about the price, even though it's like 50% cheaper than what Steam has right now.

Take it or leave it mate.

Actually, wondering, does gifting Homeworld Deserts if you purchase it with the loyalty discount give the redeemer the free collection?

Yes. The older games are in the sub rather than attached as condition-dependent gift copies.

Winter sale cards will disappear soon, so I should just dump them on the marketplace right?

Might as well make a few cents while you still can.

Yup. The only use they'll have come the end of the sale (or even an hour before like the past) is to be crafted into gems.

Is it better to do it now or wait till when its almost at the end of sale to buy cards to craft? I assume it would be cheaper like an hour before they disappeared because everyone would be trying to sell them off.

Thanks. Now I am tempted to grab Dragon's Dogma since I've never played the previous versions but it almost goes against the Steam sale spirit to buy something full price. I'll probably hold tight until Summer.

Added NaisancceE and eden. I have too many unplayed point-and-click games already so I'll hold back on Dropsy.

About three or four weeks back I finally made an "Unplayed" category and have been working on trying every single game I haven't played yet. It's down to around 130 games (not counting whatever I buy tonight) but I bet around 15-20 of those unplayed games are all point-and-click (or Telltale style) adventure games.

If you want to grab the pre-order goodies with Dragon's Dogma, it's 25% off on GMG with code 25PERC-2016GM-WTHGMG.

Not 100% sure, actually. I know the prices sometimes change very quickly before a few cents, more may last minute sell them but I ex9ect many will also last minute buy them.

Alright, I'm trusting you folks on this Dragon's Dogma. Got it with that coupon.

Also have Endless Legend, eden, NaissanceE, Darkest Dungeon, and a handful of some of the super cheap games on my wishlist. Still toying with adding both Wolfenstein games.

I'm looking at maybe $50 more to spend beyond those. Any thoughts towards Grim Dawn or Black Closet? Is The Vanishing of Ethan Carter fun to play is it more of the Dear Esther style of just walking around and being bored?

I found it pretty interesting, the puzzles can be obscure as shit though

Looks great too

I was looking for someone to sell me or turn me off Armello

It looks really cool, and I love board games. I couldn't wait until I posted this question let alone wait for a response, but then I noticed that it's barely mentioned in this thread and could do with some exposure (although not from me since I've yet to finish downloading it). So if it looks interesting check out this caffeinated review I found

So I just finished up Tales from the Borderlands and it was surprisingly great. Going in I knew that virtually everything I've read here about it has been good but I've never touched a Borderlands game at all so I wasn't really sure what to expect.

I was pleasantly surprised to have it live up to the hype, especially coming off of Game of Thrones, which was such a bummer. TftB has characters that are actually likable, it doesn't look like shit like GoT, and although it's probably just my imagination but it felt like the choices actually mattered a little bit, at least in comparison.

Grim Dawn is fantastic, it just feels right and I think it's finally out of early access soon. The amount of content is rude for the price.

Woohoo, $2 in card money, time to buy 4 random 50c games!

Two games that are kind of on my want list:

Dark Souls 2: Scholars edition
Mad Max

Both are around the same price. What should I pick up before the same ends?

I don't think I can play PC games with kb/m anymore.
After 20 hours in Grim Dawn, my back is starting to hurt. I need to find a table that fit in nicely with my couch.

playing from bed is pretty cool and i try to do it with games i don't have to think much about like dying light but i'm also really bad if i'm not like sitting down

Easily the most I've spent on a Winter Sale but I got a large promotion recently at work and hadn't had anything else really large or notable to buy myself for fun for the holiday season so I figured I'd go a bit above my usual this year. Lots of stuff to play!

Do people play Iron Brigade aka Trenched any more? What's the main draw to the game, co-op or multiplayer? Does the single player have any value?

Oh man, so happy of having bought Rocket League. It's a blast to play.

Last second hat-trick.

I want to hop on the Rocket League bandwagon but I heard it controls better with a controller and I only have the old fashioned kb & mouse set-up. I don't like playing competitive games with any disadvantage no matter how sleight.

Maybe I'll buy a controller down the road and get it in a few months. I just have very little motivation to purchase one.

I find a lot of games are better with a controller(racing games, fighting games, dark souls, platformers, tps) not just Rocket League, better to buy one if you have none

Jesus christ the direct deposit for fafsa just came in and I cant handle the pressure of having so much money with seven hours left in the sale

Yeah that's one of my main failings as a gaming dad... my play sessions are so erratic that I can rarely organise a match with friends. There is online multiplayer and according to steamspy there were over 10,000 players in the last two weeks. You can also play single player while waiting in queue to join an online game which is a really cool feature that more multiplayer games need to consider.

Thank you for reminding me, I really enjoy mahjong... I just hope no one from work ever views my steam account.

Is that a Double Yakuman?

Man, congrats. Best I ever got was a San-An-Kou, Tan-Yao, Richi, Ippatsu, Dora San

Nah, Kokushi Musou with a single wait (you have a pair of terminals on hand) - Yakuman
Kokushi Musou with an 13-open wait - Double Yakuman

I play mahjong like twice a year witha few people, okay, my bad. xD
But it's not like you need to know that, with how rare that hand is...

Man, I need to start playing mahjong again. Such a pity there's no online game available on Steam. :(

While I didn't find that many titles I was interested in this sale (at a price I was willing to buy mindlessly), I did decide to liquidate my inventory of cards, emotes, and a few misc TF2/CSGO items.

If it wasn't for JShackle's Enhanced Steam offering me the quick buttons to quicksell, I would of gone mad or atleast had to spend many additional hours clicking through horrible menus.

Still have 435 items on the market place, but I've definitely stored away enough Steam Cash to pick up the stuff I want later.

So, thanks JShackles :D
