Whatever you do WWE do not package them into an invasion angle. For the love of god no more invasion angles.

I'm certain it will go like this for AJ and Nakamura:

-NXT run that is awesome.
-MAIN ROSTER DEBUT AGAINST JOHN CENA (no fucking chill when it comes to debuts with these guys).
-They win their first match against John Cena.
-Cena wins the rematch. And the third match.
-50/50 booking in the mid card forever.

Owen has that ever happened?

This chump jobbed to a little nine year old girl.

LoL! You can't be THAT naive, can you? Haha! That was frigging hilarious. If you knew the show then you would know that was done as part of the entertainment schedule. That little girl also fight against big women too (of course, only on the entertainment sections). She is a true supporter of Japanese wrestling and probably would take it up as a serious competitor when she is older.

Now Omega... That guy is proper-g! He knows how to sell, execute safely, be vicious, cut a promo. That guy is full on awesome. If people do not understand him or give him a chance then they will not "get" him. He is legit. Both him and Nakamura are straight out of King of the Fighters video game. :) Can't get more charismatic than that.

WWE already has an over saturated roster that they mostly don't know what to do with. It's cool that this may be legitimate, but many people will be left out to die both new and old.

I see what you did there. That was carlito of you.

The Styles Clash is dead and will never be performed again.
... unless Triple H wants to do it himself.

I strongly believe that AJ Style will be allowed to perform that move and go "all out" on specific wrestlers only. So that would include Samao Joe, Nakamura, Fin Balor and other fighters that have wrestled with him and those that have a high ability to adapt such as Seth Rollins. Homebred WWE players may be restricted. It is may also depends on schedule too, as players that are due to keep fighting throughout the week such as house shows and so on will probably be exempt from wrestling in that fashion.

WWE's creative team really scared me. I fear for Kanako (Asuka), I fear for Samao Joe, and now I fear for AJ and co. I wished for these guys to come to WWE and I am so happy that they are there/coming, but I do not trust WWE themselves for they are known for shafting and crapping on the best of players due to their awful creatives, awful storyline focused strategy (that need to be stepped down as NXT proven in their own camp), and awful awful bookings strategy that makes no sense and provide no sense of scale/leaderboard or anything. The divas division is 10x worse too, it is all crap. It ALL need to change.

Haven't seen AJ wrestle since his late TNA days. Can he still go?

Either way, this will definitely get me tuning in again.

Prime Bullet Club is probably Prince Devitt vs Gedo at one of the summer PPVs in 2013, I remember that being really fun.

Agreed. Back before the Young Bucks, Gallows, etc. all came in and turned the Bullet Club into the nWo ripoff it is now, when they were just a bunch of assholes with chips on their shoulders.

Having watched the Finn Balor documentary about his time in Japan , this sounds good.

Wonder if they'll take them to NXT to further pump up the brand.

Omega was in WWE's old Deep South developmental and hated it (Bill DeMott, basically), but he's always said he never wants to work anywhere where he can't have fun and enjoy his wrestling.
That reminds me. I wonder if DH Smith/Davey Boy Jr. will ever return to the company. In his interviews/shoots post-WWE, he's said how he didn't like how he was limited in his own style and some of their rules they implement for various things.

I hate AJ Styles.

That is all.

Why? He is almost without question the best active wrestler today. It was that very reason he was pushed to the top of New Japan the second they signed him.

Current rumors is Styles and Nakamura both have main roster contracts, so they're not going to NXT. They've been paid more than anyone down in developmental; we're talking Del Rio money. So you can be assured if creative does anything to alter either men, it will be disastrous.

Karl and Gallows will be okay, for they'll surely be paired with Finn.

"Who's that at ringside JBL? Is that...is that AJ Styles?"
"ITS AJ STYLES FROM NEW JAPAN MAGGLE! WHAT'S HE DOING HERE? AND WHO'S THAT NEXT TO HIM?"
"I believe he is also from New Japan, he goes by the name Karate Sensai"

I laughed.... then I I cried.
This is happening, isn't it?

I'm hoping the best case scenario is
AJ, Swagsuke and a returning D.Brine light up the stadium and stay on as the final three after surprise entries midway through the Rumble. Swagsuke and D.Brine kick Big Slow so hard he tumbles out of the ring lying motionless for a good few minutes and AJ does that feint neckbreaker suplex thing he does sometimes on the ropes to throw Kane out. This happens before Big Sloth and Kane have the opportunity to throw out the actual crowd favourites like last year.

What a way to put over Nakamura in that article. They see the global crossover potential, like I do. Seriously if he hits big, I can see crowds mobbing him at airports, and girls fainting in the stands like they did for MJ.

The difference is that Nak has that "It Factor", that only once in a lifetime stars have.
Only factor they care about is if he is related to the rock or the McMahon's

Nakamura is going to drop the IC Title before he leaves, but I expect him to debut to setup something huge. I hope for a Bryan-Nakamura match at Wrestlemania. I hope, but I doubt it'll happen cuz WWE hates Bryan.

The one thing that surprises me is they're using their names they've been using for a while instead of some new half-assed 'we own you' shit label.

They are on the phone with Mr. Fuji as we speak to be his manager.

That's the alternate reality where WWE no longer exists because they would have gone bankrupt and purchased by Ted Turner if they tried to build their company around Bret's greasy ass.
Austin would have got his mania win against Bret and still had his push.

HBK and HHH would have left for WCW and joined their drug junkie friends and probably been a cancer in the locker room then they both would have oded on cocaine.

Anderson & Gallows I think will be OK on the main roster -- they would be a much needed jolt of seriousness in the tag division. I could see them having great matches with the Lucha Dragons, the New Day and even the Dudleys.

A.J. Styles and Nakamura I'm worried the most about. If the WWE creative is smart (which they've proven time and time again that they aren't), they would let Styles and Nakamura do what they do best: wrestle. I would love to see both get World title runs (especially Styles) and have Itami, Balor and Samoa Joe on the main roster as well for matches to build on. WWE could even borrow NJPW's G1 Climax and have them in a similar tournament.

But knowing the WWE and seeing the typical behavior of the person running the show (Vince McMahon), this won't happen. I fully expect Nakamura and Styles to go after Roman Reigns and John Cena, win the first matches against them on PPVs, then lose the next two at PPVs then get pushed back into midcard. Vince McMahon is extraordinarily petty over the littlest things and Nakamura is much too talented to have his time in the WWE be him feuding over the IC/US title. Styles would get full-on "f-you" treatment like how Sting got.

Signing a bunch of international and internet big names for what? WWE's problem is not the lack of talent and wrestlers, it's the mishandling of them.

Unless they send them all to NXT and keep them there, safe, while Raw and SD remain the Cena & Roman show.

So not worth it

1. They want to make NXT a third touring brand, so they need more bodies that draw crowds along with their top developmental talent.
2. They need to weaken their competition. New Japan is on US TV now, and NJPW World is direct competition to the Network, buying away their top stars makes good business sense.
3. These guys are money. AJ Styles is a former champion and is in the best form ever. Nakamura is argueably the biggest Japanese star this side of Tanahashi, at least on par with Okada. The other two are probably a bit cheaper, but are still a big deal in Japan, as well as for the smark crowd that is drawn to the Network and NXT.
4. The head trainer in WWE right now is Matt Bloom, their main scout is William Regal. Along with Triple H, those three have a huge influence on Vince and who to get, so their sudden focus on Japanese top talent isn't that surprising.

Business wise, it's hard to argue against this move. Nakamura is probably crazy expensive and AJ wouldn't have done it for anything less than 500k a year downside either, but lets face it, they'll make most of that money back based off of those two's merch sales alone.

A bit of a side rail but this is a good watch! No. It is a must see and he mentioned the truth about WWE which makes him (and no doubt many others) worried about going there.
