I CAN NOT wait.

The Conjuring is my second best theater experience I've ever had in my life and I'm going to see the second movie with the same person and laugh the entire time.

The Conjuring 2 is easily my most looked forward to movie in 2016.

The original The Conjuring is a great horror film. Hoping this one remains at a similar level of quality. So far, the only horror movie I'm certain will be good this year is "The Witch".

Loved the first one. Most of the same cast, and James Wan, the director, is godly when it comes to horror.

Also, went to see the first one with my brother and cousin in the movies, and my brother, who is the biggest "I'm not scared of anything" type, was freaking out the entire time.

Going to horror movies with friends is awesome in my opinion.

the first conjuring was really hurt by the "based on the true story" thing. those words just scrolled through my mind when people started getting force pushed all around the fucking place.

first was pretty good, even if it petered out by the end. still, excited for this

Loved the first one, but I'm not sure why they have to name it The Conjuring 2. I'd be more down with this being an on-going anthology of adapted Warren cases frankly (thoughnI have no idea how many of their cases are published or Loraine is open to providing for this kind of adaption) - and "The Conjuring" would have been a subtitle. I think it would work better, and frankly I really like Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga in the roles.

I look forward to this.
The first one was good despite having Lili Taylor who is tedious in everything, so this one will be fantastic.

pretty much all their "cases" have been published because they were making the shit up to make money.

Isnt this the one where the ending gets goofy with the two comedy ghost hunters?

That was Insidious. It was directed by James Wan too. Wan likes to add in some comedic relief in his horror films. Sometimes really heavy, serious movies need that. I liked the humor in Insidious and the small bits of comedy in The Conjuring too. I'm sure he'll do the same for this movie.

I'm so ecstatic that he's directing this one. He's made some flops in the past, but I have faith in this movie. Besides, he redeemed himself for Insidious 2 with Fast and Furious 7.

I'm not a horror guy at all (I haven't even seen the first conjuring film) but I do love the trailers that WB/New Line have put out for both of the Conjuring films.

That slow paced, old school vibe works so well for these films. I'll have to check these out at some point.

I am always surprised by people who disliked the Conjuring.
I thought it was one of the best classic style scary movies in ages.

Both movies were based off that case

That's really weird then, a few years ago we had When The Lights Went Out, then last year we had The Enfield Haunting and now this.

Seems to be a pretty popular story but I don't think I can watch a third version of it in 3 years. Probably wait for it to come to Sky.

That's exactly how I feel. If only Conjuring was called "The Conjuring: From The Case Files of Whatshisname Warren" so that they could have made a ton of them without having to call them all The Conjuring. I got soooo excited at the end of 1 when they made the reference to the Amityville House. I really hope they adapt that, unless the rights to that specific story are tied up elsewhere or something. (can that even be a thing since it's "based on a true story"?)

Same here! I'm not really a big horror movie fan but I really, really enjoyed the first one. Hell I even like Annabelle. When shit goes Silent Hill in that one, oh man. The entire elevator/stair sequence was so cool.

This looks just as bad as the first one, which probably is the most overrated movie I've seen in years.

It's like they used every horror cliche in the book and made a movie about it.
And now we get another one, which based on this trailer is again full of stuff that we've seen in countless of other horror movies over the years.

I enjoyed the first despite usually hating horror movies. I'll give this a go assuming it reviews like the first one.

I know it's not the same director but man Annabelle was absolutely terrible. Kind of makes me want to skip this too.

The first one was great and surprised me with its quality. Really want more quality horror films! Can't wait to check this out.
