If you're going to have a run this boring, you better get it right the first time instead of screwing around.
Well... at least it was only 12 minutes. I guess.
As a big FF1 fan, my secondhand embarrassment is real right now.
What happened? Sounds like something embarrassing so I'm too scared to watch.

Yeah... I was looking forward to the run when I didn't realize it was credits warp. I'm both disappointed and embarrassed right now, especially since it was a donation incentive.
We probably won't see actual FF1 runs at GDQ now because of this. :/

They were trying to show off a FF1 credits warp that required climbing up and down stairs for about 3 minutes to setup, but ended up fucking up twice.
This is what would have happened if it didn't crash btw.
So all you have to do is to walk up and down some stairs a bunch of times and then you beat the game? Sounds like a fun run.
She's playing a 3DS...Crazy coat girl doesn't want to be caught dead being seen in a room full of nerds.

And how do you fuck it up if that is all you need to do? Lol.

Looks interesting, but I really think the game lacks stairs to make it great.
I see.Like a lot of these warps, it involves first filling the buffer (climbing the stairs) so you can start overwriting code through precise inputs.
I see.
Even if he did succeed it's still an awful idea for an event like this.
What happened lol?
Someone bombed their run?
I don't see how it's any worse than the Mario World or OoT glitch warps.
