The last few posts are making me wish I'd stayed up to watch the whole thing. I watched the first couple of hours, then slept for a bit, then just woke up to see that silly final boss.

But damn, today's lineup is amazing. 3D platformer block, Shovel Knight, Mario Kart block, TASBot block, LttP, Bloodborne, and finally Super Metroid? Holy shit.

It was long, and I'm tired as fuck, but I really enjoyed that MM run. The four guys all worked together pretty well for group commentary, they were all pretty quick and consistent in pulling off their tricks and most notably for me the routing is super impressive: they shoved 15 hearts and all dungeons in a single cycle! The final boss was pretty funny too.

Yup. Today is stacked. Honestly, though, the whole schedule this year has been really strong.

The Bloodborne run might be a tad bit anticlimactic for those who aren't aware of the version of the game they're running. Pre-1.04 (I think) -- the version before they removed the clinic jump.

If BB returns for future marathons I hope it's an all bosses category, or a more recent patch. Demon's Souls is overdue for a return to GDQ as well ^.-

The PS4 app crashed 5 times within two hours on Wednesday. I moved over to the Xbox One app. No problems there.

Heh, I had the exact opposite experience. I had to switch to the PS4 app because of bad performance and crashes in the Xbox One app. I wonder what's causing the issues.

I know this won't really help you, but it's because of your connection to twitch. The app automatically switches stream quality based on your connection and that's where the rewinding comes from.

So doing anything to get your connection on the PS4 more stable would help. I never have that issue for example.

I have the same problem on the PS4 app. It's trash. It could be so easily prevented if you could just choose your quality like on PC.
Even WiiU and PS4 web browser don't have this problem but the dedicated app has.
