There are "official" pawns created by Capcom as well. You'll find these roaming around the major city.

story reasons you only have one pawn, nothing is stopping someone from modding the game and letting you create your own three pawns I guess.

- Ctrl+click every name in a column that isn't your friend, switch page
- Go tab by tab, add friend, close tab, rinse and repeat until you're done.

I already filled up my friends page because I kept spamming online people with invites I'm popular

If you go to the game in the store it says how many own and how many want the game on the right hand side.
