Owen Wilson's constant "O" face when he's confused has you pissed off? I'm down with SF2 Ken though in that one version (Super I think) I don't think the super long ponytail worked too well. Still ok though.
SF4 Ken is alright. I'd have taken that face and hair over this edition. This is the only version of Ken where I think he is straight up ugly. A 4/10 ugly ass loser.

The actual cut of the shirt is a lot more revealing as well. Compare the cuts of the shirt they are different, its cut higher up to show more underboob on the original render

This might be because parts of the shirt are meant to be physics objects, and those don't "animate" properly when you load up the models in an external viewer.

Ok prematurely freaked about Laura's alt. The angle on the render made it look over the top pervy.

Personally I'm waiting to see how the new characters shake out in terms of gameplay before I make any condemnations.

We've seen gameplay videos of both! Still nothing interesting. The fact that her alternate costume is just having less clothes only makes things worse. And gameplay doesn't matter. Abel ended up being fun to play, but he's still a lame character.

If they made costumes the way riot does then we'd get tons of costumes for the popular characters and someone like Fang (or whoever ends up being the least played) would have one or two for the life of the game.
Also they can't do stuff like change attack effects like legendary skins in league or dota do due to the nature of the game compared to a moba.
If anything they do what they did before in sf4 which is just make sure everyone in the cast gets costumes so that anyone who plays the game gets something when new stuff rolls out.
Riots model works for a larger scale roster since they have to pick and choose a bit because there are over a hundred characters so they can afford to ignore some of the cast. Street fighter 5 even with a finished roster in a couple of years is still going to be much smaller than that and as we've seen with sf4 it's easier to give everyone some attention as a result.

I meant his actual face during gameplay at least to me looks great, hair aside and all. Certain angles make certain characters look weird, 3D hasn't been kind to Ken. Yet ryu always comes out great.

Might not play him since he's a charge character but I think he looks cool.
Literally none of this matters to me when the end result is that I think all of the costumes are bland, boring, unappealing and I would never go out of my way to get them. Contrast that with LoL where, even though I have zero interest in playing that game, I see some of the alternate costumes for the characters and I feel like playing them just for that.
It's about the quality, not the quantity.

Also in the external viewer picture being passed around the camera is placed low looking up.
Laura's idle pose in game has her upper body leaning forward so the cutoff isn't emphasized as much.

Just sayin, novel mechanics and an off-the-wall design are great but don't necessarily make a character less shallow in terms of the game itself. FANG and/or Laura could be utter shit from a gameplay perspective as far as we know, and pre-release promo videos for fighting games are traditionally not very meaningful for determining this. Lots of things about FGs generally don't become apparent until the game has been out in the wild long enough for people to figure them out.

My main beef with the Laura alt is just how plain it is. Its just a green top, and blue bottom. Its not awful its just I wish there was a little more design to it, maybe the top have a little more flair or something to it.

That's true! But like I said, this alt costume sure isn't encouraging. She could be super fun to play and I don't think I'd want to see her return in a future game at this point because I think the character is uninspired. A disappointing alt costume for a disappointing newcomer.
