I got a match right after I set it lol.
So does Ken's recovery seem fast to you guys? I threw him and he could immediately DP after KD...like there was not even time for oki or nothing, instant.

Also this is the third time the beta randomly quit on me, i dunno if this is going to be a problem when the full release comes out. :\

Stand mp, hp, spike or drill. Drill for stun spike for damage.

Keep getting matched up with bad connections even when I set to 5 bars only.
Also granted I have barely played the beta, why is everything seem like a counterhit?

Yeah & I also have played enough fighting games to compare the netcode to. It's nothing special. It's completely average. You know there is a middle ground between great & bad right?

And yes, I, too have played other games. Pretty sure most of us have.
Might just be your connections and the matchups you're getting.
It's very possible for people to have different experiences online for the same game

Crazy how they let you know about the servers are about to go down. I was hit with 45 minute warning 15 minutes ago.

For what it's worth Tekken Tag 2 doesn't have to worry about more than a few dozen people playing on a server these days. So that helps. Street Fighter V is implementing a cross platform roll back netcode with thousands of people playing and it's shaping up to be amazing.

I'm done for the night. Game is still boring as hell. With Ken nerfed I'm just playing Nash in the same boring flow chart as Beta 1. He's got an easy as hell frame trap with the new button priority system which works into the flow chart & that's about it.

Its better than SF4 netcode and thats as average as it can get. Its pretty amazing actually. im very happy Capcom went with this netcode they are using.

I have played GAFers from Sweden here in the US & the matches are fine in Tekken. Half my matches from the US in SF5 have been worse.

Those Tekken games are finished and release.
SFV at the moment is still in beta.
So many random DPs on your part though: the crush system would have made you lose this match quickly if your opponent knew better about it.
I had way more laggy matches than I did smooth ones tonight. Any time I was matched with someone not from the US it was pretty much unplayable. Shame because I really enjoy the game but I'm going to chalk it up to the time the beta is out and hope that it's better once it actually releases.

Time to turn. Thanks for the thread bump fellas. I'm starting to turn on the new tweaks though. Trying to still get used to the close throw range and no jab combos. I'm begging they should go back to Beta 1 status. I don't main Ryu, but it's a travesty he's weak USFIV again with no jump back tatsu.

I got a lot of work to do but I think i know what I did wrong or atleast is my weakness.
I want to get better at anti airing with stHP and doing jab jab instant uppercut for little punishes. Doing the overhead special seems like it'll be godlike week one till people learn to block high then low.
Also getting stHK crush counter, v triggering and doing a stHP that whiffs is sadness. I'll practice going for crMK into uppercut
When I master doing Instant uppercuts I'll feel so satisfied, luckily it seems you don't need it after a stLK so when vtriggered overhead reset into stLK it works. Still need to be quick but it worked with out the instant version. maybe I had counter hit on now that I think about it. :/
I'd like to say most of these matches that I had with the setting at 4-5 bars only felt good. Some not so much ofcourse. It's the ones that are almost good enough that sticks out the most. The obvious teleporting match just turns your brain off immediately I suppose so I don't care as much lol.
Overall really happy with where its at.

I had no issues with the past few betas on PS4, but I tried the PC version during this test and all of my matches were a teleporting mess. I opened a ping test to see if it was my end and my ping was stuck at 6ms to my ISP whenever I was in training mode, but once I got into a match it would spike like crazy. Did anyone on PC get in any good matches? Usually when I try this with other games my ping to my ISP isn't affected by playing online.
