Looks like the leaked alternate costumes may have been for Story Mode.
If you look closely at the first image, you can see the leaked alts for Laura & Birdie. And as mentioned earlier, the Necalli alt is present in one of the variant PS4 faceplates. I guess this basically confirms that we're gonna get the F.A.N.G alt present in the drawings as well.

Don't guides for fighting games become outdated pretty quickly as updates and balance tweaks roll out?
Also, a slightly off topic question, but which platform do you guys think the majority of the community will be on? I'm guessing PS4, right? I'm still trying to decide between the two, and I'd prefer to be on the one most people are on in case the crossplay has issues.
If people only wanted them for frame data they'd just use the internet. They're nice collectors items.

Looks like the same presentation style we saw the DENIED outfits for Chun and Charlie. those are probably outfits they decided not to go with.
