That wouldn't happen. For a few reasons

Biggest reason, iizuka would stab someone. Judging on shadows change in character in sonic boom. He he already stabbed a few people.

Also that game did pretty good, there actually a suprising amount of people who defend it, and they can sell more merchandise and comics off of it.

But mostly the first thing, you trying to get ruby eclipse stabbed up

Sonic Adventure 3 (though it plays more like Generations' modern stages) and Sonic 4 (or 5, I have zero issue with them pretending the original Sonic 4 never happened) would be pretty amazing for the 25th.

If Shadow the Hedgehog gets a trophy list there needs to be one for completing the library (This requires you to beat the game over 300 times). People would need to work for that platinum.

I feel I have no care. Sega has become one of the worst companies in gaming. They need to quit hyping anything.

When they have something good... Who will believe any pre hype

Some people want Classic Sonic, others Sonic Adventure 4, other all his friends back, others none,...

I don't think will get the game everyone wants.

And 2 sonic isn't link, people's opinions of sonic may be they dont like sonic being that. You remeber " dark sonic" from sonic x. It's not the Werehog running around with a broken radar trying to find master emerald pieces in the most hated levels of SA2. Nor is it the Werehog who can jump forever in another hated Sonic beatemup. Maybe the consensus would improve very very slightly among Sonic communities if there was no stupid Werehog, but those levels are bad and they'd still be bad if you change the character.

While I don't want this to look like defending the Werehog (because god no), I think taking a character and forcibly transforming him into something that goes completely against his characteristics can lead to good character and story developments. It doesn't in Unleashed because it's the story in a Sonic game, and one coming out after Sonic 06 at that, but yeah.

Well what they shouldn't do is try to appeal to everyone. Or they'd please nobody. Chase 2 rabbits...
 
As far as the whole "who cares" thing - and obviously my first reaction was to ignore such a baiting and idiotic question - but I've gotta say I'm closing in on 30 and I spend Sundays in Sonic pajama bottoms. And while I'm looking forward to seeing what Sega have got, I don't really care for the whole ARG or mystery way of unveiling it. If I *knew* it was going to be awesome I'd get involved, get excited. But in my eyes they're proving themselves all over again, every time.
