true, 9 was a good game.
It wasn't VII, VIII or Vagrant Story.
But it was a good game.. I'm happy with the thought that SE has already mentioned VIII as ideal for a VII type remake if they were to do another.
The rumoured small budget remake for IX is good enough for what it is..

FF7 was always their "In case of emergency. Remake Game" play. They somehow managed to fuck that up too.

Guys, do not expect a game announcement this year. I don't think this game is ready yet. And even if it does get announced, it will likely be a Sony State of Play, not a random announcement drop.
