Although this is fundamentally different to being transgender. My personal belief is to let people be what they want to be as long as no one is being hurt (including themselves).

Can her mental issues in this situation be explained? Absolutely. But there is not one single explanation for how she could actually have been meant to develop as a cat, but instead mistakenly develop as a human. That's the gigantic difference between this and being transgender.

I will go ahead and say it: where do we draw the line between transgender, transethnic, and transspecies (and any other trans- that I'm not aware of). Honest question.

transgender basicaly happens because hormone relationship during fetal development makes a what would be a "male" brain stay a "female brain" because received estrogen or didn't received testosterone.

Transethnic is simply a person who likes another culture, usualy because was raised by and near said culture.

Transspecieis did not receive "cat hormone" on the brain while developing because there is no such a thing as "cat hormone" in humans and does not behave perfectly like what they say they are because they were not raised or liked "cat culture", they like the fiction idea of human-cat hybrids.

Yeah, it's cool, she can do that. But the fact is, she's not a cat and is delusional if she truly thinks she is. But as long as no one is being hurt, she can keep being deluded. I'm not arguing against transgenderism or in favor of trans... specieism? Just pointing out the similarity in logical steps that they're obviously using to justify their... lifestyle? Or is that... specieist of me to call it a lifestyle as it may imply a choice?
