When I first found that out years ago, I was kinda surprised. That just made Slam Masters even more awesome.
They did a spend $100/get $15 last February 17th. If they do it again the same time, that would put it on release day. Hoping they do again, but it might mean missing out on the pre-order costume. However, if you're getting the game, season pass, and maybe some MKXL stuff, that would put you over.

Such a shame because it looks cool in motion (especially in all out grappling matches like ALvHU). Unfortunately it's slow and crouching makes it pointless. An EX version that hits crouching opponents would be greatly appreciated. If I had to choose a special to drop it'd be DDT, though. :/
There's going to be so many crush countered DPs day 1.
He was still my toughest matchup in the last 2 betas. Damage adds up quick.

I tried to preorder on my phone, and the 20% off was there for digital. Then I went on my PC to order, and it wasn't. :-/

Don't get why the new artwork is so inconsistent, that box art looks amazing...then you have stuff like Vega's face or his Claws being so thin. Weird...although I don't hate it as much as I thought i would.
I was thinking maybe $150.

They said that some costumes will be earnable in game, for free.
They haven't said which ones, though. I'm guessing the story mode ones will be unlockable (like cop Chun), but no one knows yet.

Well the costumes are in the bad drawing Bengus story mode.. So it begs the question how will they split up the story? Will the Bengus one be a precursor to the summer story? Will there be different arcs separated out?

What I wonder is whether or not we'll see different SF artists down the road for the drawn story modes. I can't imagine Bengus sticking with this for four or five years if the drawn story is constantly updated. Maybe Capcom might just do the animated stories after this. That is a possibility too.
I just hope they get better animation if they go that route.
IIRC the Bengus stuff is individual character prologues that lead each character to the cinematic story mode, which seems like SFV's main story.
Most of the costumes that appear to be tied to story look like prologue stuff, right...? Alpha costumes, casual clothes... Though Gief/Mika and M. Bison's are probably (definitely) not stuff that happened before SFV's main story... so I'm not sure what to make of that.
HRAP4 is a great stick. If you have a preference for Seimitsu or Sanwa parts (Or develop one later) you can swap them out pretty easy too.
Hmm. I think im going to end up hoarding the in game currency anyway. Most of the alts look goofy to me. I might get that Necalli alt if its available thou.
I'm just going to play the crap out if it. If I have fight money to buy what I want, great. If I don't, I don't have an issue dropping cash on a game I'm enjoying.
Also has there been any word on PS3 stick compatiblity yet? Game is getting pretty close, it'd be nice if they game some notice so people could plan accordingly.
Nope, there was an Idolmaster game that came out in Sept, another in December and a new one on it's way for PS4.
Don't expect him to do anything notable in the foreseeable future.
I asked about the ps3 stick compatibility but no one seems to know, which I think basically implies that they jettisoned it.

Yeah, I also have a feeling that's the case. I already got a PS4 stick for Xrd a while back, but it would be nice if I could give my friends who skipped it a definite answer before they buy a new stick or try to replace a board in thier old one.
