Street Fighter 6 PS5 Pro vs Nintendo Switch 2 Graphics Comparison

To me these comparisons are so pointless.

I buy Nintendo systems for their first and third party exclusives, I'm not buying them for "power".

Even game like RE9 or Onimusha somehow do make on Switch 2 I will never buy it for that system.

I still keep my PS5 around exactly for these mutiplatform games (since their first party games has become worthless to me this gen).

Switch 2 costs less than a physical PS5, i.e. $450 vs $600 ($700 for the Pro) and that's before any potential price increases that Sony may have.

The fact it's newer, costs less, is a 10th it's size and is even comparable to it is extremely impressive.

Meanwhile other handheld options that try to compete with PS5 (minus the ability to natively dock or support HDR/DLSS) costs $100-$200 MORE than a PS5. If you can't see how that makes Switch 2 an extremely impressive device then you are just blind or bias.
Let's not be intellectually dishonest on price. In the US, the entry point for the PS5 is $450, the same price as the Switch 2. Bringing up the PS5pro is even more disingenuous.

Newer doesn't really mean a whole lot in terms of what makes the Switch 2 interesting. Tech advancement is a constant that will surpass the Switch 2 in the not too distant future.

I appreciate your comparisons to other handhelds. I think that helps to steelman your argument that the S2 is impressive. But if you are going to compare it on its merits as a stationary console it's going to get curb stomped every time. Small and cute doesn't mean much if you aren't someone interested in gaming on the go.

You do what you want. There are people who don't care and will buy these games on Switch 2 because it's portable, because the Pro Controller is the best controller, because it looks good enough.

We need those comparisons to know if it's ok to get the Switch 2 version of a game.

Street VI for example, it has cross-play, stable 60 fps online, and it looks good. No need a PS5 or Steam version.

Small and cute doesn't mean much if you aren't someone interested in gaming on the go.
Of course it means something, why would I use a big device that uses 200W (or more), when I can play pretty much the same game in close quality with a 20W power draw device?

I know there's differences between PS5 and S2 but it's the power draw that blows me away.
One is 20w and the other is 200w, that for me is the biggest differentiation, they're close enough to enjoy but one is using only 20w.
