Nooooo, the netcode is damned good.
Internets and network latency are something you might want to look into, yours or the people that you are connecting with. Take the advice of those who mentioned adjusting the settings.
Don't be so damned quick to piss on the game without knowing what you are talking about.
 
Welp, had a really laggy match against a Brittish player (which is odd since that's not far away at all) where Laura fell on the ground, as she hit the ground she KO'ed me randomly with Rashid just dropping on the ground lol.

I don't have time to even get bored. Against good opponents, there's no down time in any of my matches thanks to fast recovery / no hard knockdown. Constant movement and scheming. And, the threat of stun and damage really don't allow you to take it easy...even with the lead.

It's a really fun game, IMO. More fast paced and exciting than SF4.

The netcode's definitely much better at the very least.

Yeah, a lot of chuns like to zone Mika out with kikoken which hard to deal with. I gotta get a little unorthodox on the way to approach her. Still haven't found something good against chun in this match=up besides get her to the corner, which is what Mika wants to do with every character.
 
I've gotten bodied by Fragment 3 times now I think. Just don't know how to handle a Chun I can't keep out yet. On the other hand, I think I'm going to have some fun with empty jump SRK. That shit has been working because people are still tech'ing all the time.

How do you combo berserker claw from a standing normal? Unless you meant from medium stomp into fierce (hp?) claw? That would be nuts

That's pretty much all I care about. As long as I'm not bored, it's fine with me.

Netcode is great, matchmaking is atrocious. I've retreated to 5 connection/PC only. I feel like Capcom might have opened up the matching making a bit too much in previous betas due to people like straight up not getting matches before.

Edit: Whelp apparently it cares not for the PC Only setting, still getting PS4 lol. :P

Strong is medium punch. In V trigger he can now combo into either medium kick stomp or heavy punch claw (he couldn't in the previous beta).

Oh that I'll concede, dudes definitely better than me. I think I had him in a Denjin guard break situation 3 times and each time he woke up EX SBK and it hit me. Even though one of the times I swore I should have been out of reach. I think everytime it hits the extended arms of Ryu because I'm only going for it in situations where I'm not right next to my opponent.

Another thing, I'm getting matches while looking at ranks. I didn't know that was possible. I figure their should be a option to turn that off because that could get annoying if all I wanted to do at the moment is see where people stand.

It's right in the settings above the the preffered matchmaking connection settings when you press start. Didn't notice it while I was in the menus and to turn it off too
 
I've recently gotten into the trend of just walking forward to the enemy as M.Bison. They get so confused and that walking animation is so badass.
 
Did they reduce Zangief SPD range in SFV?

Couldn't do fierce kick whiff into SPD, would always miss when it always worked in SFIV.

btw are PSN's country flags reliable? If so, I've played people from UK and USA with little/no lag at all (I'm from Brazil)

The user can pick any flag he wants, so you can't exactly rely on it.
