Go into Device Manager and check for which entry it could possibly be. My buddy had the same issue with his Hori stick. HRAP3 had the name RAP.NX. It could also have the "Unknown device". Anyways, once you've found it you need to right-click>update driver software>browse computer for driver software>let me pick from a list on my computer>choose microsoft controller class>choose xbox 360 controller 2009. I'm out to class but I'll be back in a few hours.
 
Damn, my setup is so fucked up.

I recently moved everything and I just now realized the PS4 power cable doesn't reach from where I wanted to place it so I have it sitting next to my computer between me and the wall. To make things worse, I didn't have enough time to buy another ethernet cable so I'm playing off WiFi.

We'll see how this goes but if my connection is shitty, no beta for me :(
 
I got a code the previous beta, got confirmation that it was for the ps4 beta of street fighter v, I can see the confirmation in my buy history on psn, but no file to download... Help? :(

Log in to the account that you registered the code with on the ps4. Open the store, find Street Fighter V. Then go to the extras/add ons section. There should be an option for the beta.
 
I've not had a good time at doing PS4/PC cross play. Half of the time players I've faced on PS4 just keep clipping in and out of positions making it impossible to predict what they're doing.

Then again I'll just assume they use wi-fi or something.
 
My first impression fighting someone overseas I thought the connection was good until I noticed the rollback and end up not trading nor getting counter hit.


Also what's up with M.Bison Critical Art? Just found out he can do it from the Air and apparently safe after trying to grab him
 
Guys just put in my promotional code on ps4 and it gives me two things available for download.

Street fighter 5 tier one access, and another one that says street fighter 5 beta

Which one do I download?
 
Damn...work can't end quick enough. I'm really pumped to play this tonight, it'll be my first time outside of playing around a bit at PSX.

I don't think her options at getting in are that great, but here's what I got:

fMK has the longest reach out of ground normals.
QCF+PP has one hit of armor (but not on the 1st frame, so it's not great on wake-up)
cHK can low-profile some moves (good against Laura fireball)
cHP can cancel into super; great if the opponent really telegraphs a move you can punish with it
sHK goes through fireballs, can be held down to charge up; I think only the fully-charged version has frame advantage, but I'm not sure what the exact numbers are for this beta
jLK is a cross-up and can link into sMP
Nadeshiko can be used for cover. Since Mika's V-gauge is only 2 bars long and can be charged via mic, you're virtually guaranteed to get two V-Triggers per round (unless you use V-Reversals), so I often spend the first one on pressure if I have >50% life left.
 
Rashid is so much fun. Need to get the hang of his rushdown though. I'm not as crazy or scary as other Rashids I've ran into.

How safe is cHP on block?

Actually I think only cHK goes under that specific move.

Not sure about cHP's frame data. I know that one got changed between betas before and I wouldn't expect it to be safe-ish at anything but max range.

How to get better with Cammy?!

I can't enter a match without fighting a Ryu or Ken from the 'Evo Qualifiers' or the 'semifinals of the Capcom Cup'.

I'm playing on steam, and the connections have been great.. Even facing people from Japan. This is wiping away the bad taste from MK X on pc.

Thanks for the reply! Still can't find it though. :( Searched on my ps4 and browser psn-store while logged in. It gives me no option for extras/add on.
 
Can't seem to get the Hori Real Arcade Pro 4 Kai to work in-game on PC. Bought it based on a confirmation that it worked in a previous beta. Hmm

Anyone else manage to get a PS4 stick working? It's detected fine by windows
 
My Qanba Q4 RAF whilst obviously installed and functional on every other fighting game, has never been picked up during the SFV PC Beta. I have to use xpadder, and map the buttons to keyboard controls. Not the end of the world. But still confusing.

Use x360ce.

This game only detects Xbox controllers (for the time being?)

Do you have it on PS3 mode? When I used my Qanba, I had to set it to 360 mode for the beta.
 
Im in the game looking at my messages but they have all been reset was hoping to use one of the extra keys they gave out to give to a mate dont suppose any of you have any luck in that area and could PM me one ? PS4

I did have to remake my profile so i guess thats why it reset

Lol I knew you get matched on the main menu, but I didn't know you get matched when you are looking at your profile info.
 
I noticed a very annoying thing when even a tiny bit of rollback is happening: neutral jumps register way too late. It looks like the opponent is standing and suddenly they're already coming down from a jump. Basically, the whole wakeup RPS goes down the drain.
 
Oh, I just noticed you no longer stay in swapped sides between rounds, P1 always starts on P1 side now

I dunno what's even the point of switching sides, you always start in the middle of the stage anyways
