Apple is currently aiming to unveil the new 4-inch the iPhone 5se, the iPad Air 3, and new Apple Watch band options at an event on Tuesday, March 15th, according to sources. We previously reported that Apple was on track to launch the new products during the week of March 14th. As the scheduled event is still a month-and-a-half away, the date could conceivably still shift or turn into an online announcement. The media event would be Apple’s first since September, and much like the fall event, is planned to touch on three major product categories for the company.

Presumably they'd drop new Macs here too, the chips are in for a few refreshes. Doubt they'd get much time though.

I'm really interested in new macbook pro retinas. Don't care much for any of the products metioned here. I would love a new retina macbook pro 13inch with thunderbolt 3.

Really want to try out the Apple Watch, but when I saw it at Best Buy and tried it out, I noticed it lagged between some animations. Honestly, that turned me off a bit and made me want to wait for the second generation.

So just a watch band? Not a new version?

I'm waiting on a new version to jump on the apple watch

Rumors say the Watch 2 is not coming till Fall sadly.

I just want them to sort out their whole laptop lineup. Everyone just wants the current AIR with all the ports to have the Macbook screen.

ipad air 3 in spring? If it has pencil support I'm grabbing one even though my air 2 is just fine. No rumours as to likely features on an air 3? If its just cpu bump and silly 3D touch I'll leave it.

Wonder if I risk selling my ipad now before news spreads and prices drop?

I've been sitting on a huge Apple giftcard for over a year now but will only consider a Macbook with better specs, a Macbook Air with a retina screen or an Apple Watch with GPS, sleep tracking, better 3rd party app support etc.

Now that the damn watch is pushed back to Fall they had better do something with the Macbook line.

If it adds pencil support, that would really take some steam out of Ipad pro. I doubt they add that functionality.

Rumors up until the TechCrunch article were all still suggesting a refresh and then everyone just used TechCrunch sources to claim just bands this spring. I think there's still a possibility for Watch 2.

people want ipad pro partly for the pencil, but partly for the larger size, faster processor and more ram etc.

I think adding pencil support to the air is important to get a large enough addressable market for developers to really get behind pencil support on ios - that feeds back into making ipad pro more attractive for the larger canvas if more apps have pencil support.

Is it too much to hope for new mac mini and macbook (preferably the rumored 14") models? I NEED both of those ...

I'm thinking I'm going to wait until Kaby Lake at this point for the native UHD and HDMI 2.0a support, but I'm interested to see if they launch a redesign with Skylake. It should very much be possible without hurting specs.

I need a new laptop so badly.

Intel finally released the chips last week, so hopefully Apple makes at least an announcement for spring releases.

I would love for them to shift the Pro line to 14 and 16 inches.

I know that won't happen, but it would be glorious.

.

And also hoping to see the ultimate fate of the Macbook Air.
If they somehow keep the line, it's finally time for retina. That's for sure.

Still, which how thin and light the MacBook is, there's no way they can keep the Air's design as is and still call it the Air.

Yeah, the Air line doesn't make much sense with the MacBook around.

If the 5se isn't severely gimped i will ditch my 6S in a heartbeat. Also bring me that black Milanese loop for my black SS Apple. I don't buy the sus amazon ones.

I'm sure they're trying to figure out a way to make the new MacBook as powerful as the Air so they can merge the lines and return to a single non-Pro MacBook again. It all comes down to the power.

If only battery technology was a lot more advanced. They wouldn't need so much of it in the MacBook and could put a bigger board inside again. It's really all about that battery they invented for the MacBook that's the reason the circuit board is so teeny tiny and therefore underpowered.

All I care about is the MBP refresh. Is it foolish that I immediately plan on ordering a maxed out 15" as soon as it becomes available? My 2010 has been great but I need an upgrade.

Should I be worried about the fact that it is likely going to be the first iteration of a new refresh?

I'll be getting AppleCare anyway though.

I have a first gen MacBook retina (2012) and I'm actually very happy with it despite being a risky buy. Can't wait to see how far they've come in these 4 years.

Time for me to upgrade my iPad 4 to an iPad Air 3. I hope they don't bump up the resolution, though. We don't want a repeat of the iPad 3. I hope they do give me that sweet sweet 4gb of RAM.
They won't

I'd say June is a safer bet at WWDC. It could happen here but I don't think people should get their hopes up.

Isn't it already a much longer wait for apple to refresh the macbook pro than average? I don't see why you'd think they'll wait until June if the chips they'll probably use are already done. Unless they plan on redesigning them or something.

Rumors point to iPhone 5se, iPad Air 3 and new Apple Watch bands and possible small refresh on them. (Like a camera and WiFi capabilities) Full redesign of the watch is expected in the Fall. Probably new MacBooks with Skylake.

MAYBE MacBook Pros, but I'd say they're coming at WWDC with redesign.

IMO, MacBooks should replace the Air line and it should just be like the Pro and MacBook of old.

My iPad 3 is getting long in the tooth, but still chugging.

I do think SOMETHING is being redesigned. Either the Macbook Airs will fall more in line with the new macbook or the retina macbook pro will be redesigned (it hasn't been in 6 years I think).

Also I recall reading that skylake for the 15 inch retina pro might not be ready until later and I don't know if apple would go for a staggered launch.

Retina pros are due for usb-c, skylake, and maybe even touch ID. Due for a redesign in general.

Current rumors (design schematics and cases) point to the Air 3 having 4 speakers and a smart connector. It's pure conjecture about the RAM or particular chip though. (Maybe 4 RAM and a throttled A9X?)

Essentially the Air 3 is expected to be a smaller version of the Pro. Force Touch is unlikely but there may be Apple Pencil support.

Just waiting on an updated MacBook Pro so I'll be purchasing my first Mac. Supposedly the releases might be staggered so the 13 inch might come out in Spring and the 15 inch in Summer.

Will probably just wait until the 15 inch MacBook Pro

They staggered the release of the last pros (13" in March, 15" in June), if they're not redesigning them and just refreshing than I can see them doing that again.

I do agree with you though, the pro line is overdue for a redesign. I see Dell's XPS line and how they got a similar spec model to the MBP 13" with it being lighter and thinner, and I'm surprised apple hasn't one-upped them yet.

Touch-ID would be pretty cool to see in macs.

Probably going to ditch my SP4 for a new Macbook or MBP, hopefully that release is close to the conference.

I love the form factor of the new Macbooks, and honestly if it's even slightly more powerful than the current gen I'll probably just grab that and not go back to a MBP. I very rarely find myself actually using Creative Cloud outside of my desktop anymore.
