Pretty much anything involving the PlayStation controller specification introduces lag. I'd not go too far into that rabbit hole.
Cheesemeister here on gaf is in that business. Wanted to buy an expensive controller through him but the combined rate was too much for me at the time and ended up only buying Quarth on famicom from him now he won't talk to me

So I just went to rub away a smudge on my TE2 plexi (the new thicker one), and when my nail grazed it it left a visible, thick scratch. I barely touched it!
So I'm wondering if maybe there's a thin layer of protective plastic on the side that faces up. I remember removing one on one side when I first got the new plexi in the mail, but maybe it was on the underside. I feel like straight up plexi would not scratch this easily.

That's nice to know. I ordered around 8:30am est and it's still processing. Hopefully that gets done during the weekend.
edit: refreshed after about 10 minutes and now it shipped lol
ima probably put that stick and a TE round 1 up for sale not good for me now anyways

Round 1 TE isn't compatible with the Brook adapter fwiw
I'm seeing plenty of Round 2 TE and TE-S sticks on Amazon and Ebay for ~$100 or less

fair enough, i'm just going by their official listing. better safe than sorry.
I think they just don't guarantee it working, but I believe people have had success with it. Personally, I'd just go with the universal board.
its okay i'd never tell somebody they could use it with the brook adapter until they list it

I just couldn't fathom playing SFV on PC without a stick day 1 (or using a 3rd party app) so I cancelled my TES+ PS4 stick. Pretty sure they're basically the same, maybe not (of course minus dinput and a touchpad).
I like it so far, seems like a solid stick, the weight is nice and not too bulky or anything.

Updating a UFB,that is dual modded with a MC Cthulhu through a imp v2, is an annoying task. Five buttons must be held down while plugging in the usb to the pc:
LK, MP, HK, Select, and Home
I had to use both hands to hold buttons and used my stick to push the usb in the pc.
Luckily, all of my sticks are modded with the rj45 pass-through mod with rj45-usb cables. That was something that I remembered after the third stick. I decided to plug the usb into the pc first, held buttons, then pushed the rj45 end to the pass-through with my pinky finger.

i liked that stick when it came out, it looks real slick. didn't have a use for it at the time so i passed. good pickup!

I was disappointed in the packaging though. Meaning there was none. The slip that was covering the box the stick was in was mangled all to hell. Kind of lame of amazon to ship something like that.

Do you have Prime? I feel like their packaging has gotten shoddier lately for Prime shipments.
I use tenso.com for amazon.jp stuff. very reliable. They have tutorials for how to order from Amazon (though you get english language pages for a lot there already).

Anyone have any experience modding the art for the Madcatz MLG stick? I thought it was basically the same design as a TE stick, but after closer inspection it seems like changing the art might be super difficult. Here is a picture of it.
I took all the screws out of the top, but then the plexi top and artwork seem like one piece and it might be glued around the edges. Just wondering if I'm missing something simple.

Nope, you did not miss anything. The plexi/ artwork is glued on the top left for the stick. It's glued where a hidden screw connects the top part of the main shell to the bottom part. I modded this stick for a friend and I remember it the art being glued to the shell.

You can try. When I peeled the art off, the top was ok, but the bottom, the white layer, has some pieces stayed on the shell.

My chun li TE2 came in today and I am having some issue getting Ultra SF4 to read it on PC. My start button just cuts out and my L2 key won't map properly. Is this an issue with the game or the stick? I have it in PS4 mode right now. Should I install xboxce and try to use it as a game controller?
It should work on PS3 mode.

With my brook converter, I'll be using it for SF5.
VS case is my favorite Madcatz stick, and I actually really liked the silent parts.
Nice. I wish we would have gotten the SH here in the states. I still use my SFxT VS pretty regularly it's probably my favorite stick of theirs as well. At least until I get my TE2+ or Hori releases a new FE.

Now I have a doubt on which parts it does mount. On Hori Usa site it says Hayabusa lever and Hayabusa buttons. Everywhere else it says Hayabusa lever and Kuro buttons. I've read Kuro buttons are good and Hayabusa are not. Furthermore, Kuro should be glossy and Hayabusa matte (which I don't like). What is the case?
I specify I've played until now with a full Sanwa RAP V3 SA stick.

So far, the hayabusa buttons are only in the new red and grey VLX. You'll get the kuro buttons in the RAP Kai.
I was lucky and able to grab one at EVO. I was getting rid of a bunch of sticks (at one point I had close to 30), and thought...why not?
Ugh.
VS is definitely my fav madcatz. I just need a fightingedge this generation and I'll be set.
Well, more set. Stick count is getting up there again. lol.

I learned to play with one but your better off using square gate. The inputs are more precise. There's a picture somewhere showing the difference.
