Of course, just trying to explain to all the non-NFL-GAFregulars that it was from an old jokes when everyone was calling everyone a fraud. There are tons of them here you know! ;-)
Don't ever be ashamed of that. It is not stupid. In fact, sometimes.. They are the best part.Although I'm actually going to miss seeing all the adverts, which sounds stupid, but...

What a shitty explanation. Do you even go to nfl gaf? Cause that explanation was straight ass/browns tier
Don't think I've ever seen so many people wearing Broncos gear in SF than over the last few days. Have yet to see anyone in Panthers gear.

Or be massively depressed and have a wake they did like with Clemson. My campus is having a big-ass watch party on Sunday, so I'm hyped as hell. The Carolinas in general would never stop partying if the Panthers can pull this off.
The puppies have decided
Do the panthers get to call heads or tails or do the Broncos ?
I hope riverboat Ron isn't an idiot like Bill and takes the ball at start the game
Let Peyton start the game off

Panthers are the "away" team and will call the toss. More specifically, Thomas Davis.
I haven't seen him take the ball in two years and I don't think it would start Sunday.

Howie Roseman torpedoed their chances. Even the powers of the genius, Chip Kelly, and the arm of the all-time goat qb, Sam Bradford, couldn't bring them back from the brink.
But it could also be a really tight game depending on the way things unfold early on. I hope we get our first Lombardi, but I'm always uneasy until the game is out of reach. I know I'm going to be on pins and needles.
I really think it'd be great for Jerry Richardson to see his team win the Super Bowl before he passes away. I don't think that's too far off, either.
Speaking of Thomas Davis, he is expected to start and have his full workload on Sunday. With a broken arm with I don't know how many screws in it.
Isn't modern medicine great?

I've been a hard core Panthers fan since their inception. I even attended the original Hall of Fame game, although I never really post on NFL gaf.

I realize that a great many people- Panthers' fans and otherwise- expect a blowout, but despite my general optimism, I don't think it's a lock by any means. I think that we've got the better team. We have a championship caliber team on both side of the ball, but Denver's defense should not be underestimated. We can't get into a situation where they are controlling field position and allowing Manning short fields for a good portion of their possessions. Additionally, Wade Phillips is a sometimes-underrated defensive mind that is capable of putting together great game plans to account for a variety of styles. Of course the X-factor will be Cam. If they stick to predominantly man coverage with no spy (not that it may matter against Cam.) and we look to push the ball deep, extending their coverage, Cam will exploit that space with his legs, causing Denver to re-think their approach and they may have to abandon what they've done so well all year.
Also, if Manning is sure that this is his last game, he'll be amped up and focused with a possible duck-killing shot of adrenaline. He HAS to know what this game could mean for the narrative surrounding his career. Having said that, I don't think he's got the physical tools at this point to contend with Luke and co for 60 minutes. We should be able to pressure up the middle with KK, etc. If we hurry him, especially preventing his ability to step into his throws, I expect he'll have a rough day.
