Yea this definitely. I'm sure the people claiming otherwise avoided media coverage because they wanted to go completely blind, so why not avoid the OT too ? The complain regarding the speculation about the length of game being spoilery is a bit too much. It mentions something that is visible for all in the game trophies, and if you are avoiding that then once again....avoid this thread !
Considering there is a spoiler thread for actual spoilers and a thread for PC performance, there isn't going to be much left to discuss here if we were to omit even the smallest of the discussions.. If we do that then this thread will be full of just two kinds of talk:
1) Is this game good ? The answer to which is always going to be either "Yes it is" or "Not for me" or something like that.
2) Questions about the game's technical details i.e. how it performs on consoles or the download size
With an odd notice about a discount thrown in once in a while.
Do we really want that in an OT ?

Edit: Theme bundle up on US PSN website, 21.99. Actually 50 cents cheaper to buy the game w/plus discount (17.99) and theme (3.49) separately. (Unless the theme bundle will be updated with a discount.)

Just want to say I don't buy a lot of games on launch day but I did for these reasons:
1. It's a refreshing take on video game entertainment that eschews guns and zombies.
2. I love the outdoors
3. The devs seemed really cool to offer a day one discount
4. I want to see another similar title from them some day
So, overall, I think they did a great job making this game, and I want them to have a fantastic first day of sales.

Finally decided on getting this today instead of Unravel, which I'll pick up on Friday.
Just watched the PS access first day video and some of the character interactions are fantastic. Can't wait to get into this.
On a side note Gone Home is also finally out on Friday in EU regions with a 30% PS+ discount I believe. Even more simulated walking for me.

i've been begging for over 5 years.
I am the same way. There are very few games I get on the hype train for from the very first time I saw it I knew I needed this game. I love character development in all media. I gravitate towards TV shows that have heavy character building, I like reading books that are a series focused around a central character, and I enjoy it in games as well.
I also really like the art style as well. So not only will I get to enjoy a lot of dialogue and character development but it will also look pretty. I'm excited to dive in later today.
edit - After watching the video of the theme I'm regretting not getting the theme bundle for ps4. I hope they will sell it separately at a later time. It looks and sounds great.
Confirmed on the PS blog to go up in 20 minutes.
