Anyone watch the Snapchat story? the Marcobots were following around Rubio and Jeb! managed to be awkward in the 20 seconds he was featured.

Not all polls, but most of them have had him leading by double digits. A few even had the lead over 30.

Single digit lead would be a bad outcome for Sanders. Anything over 10% is good for him, and 20+ would be great.

I'm splitting hairs here but I think it has to be 12+% for Bernie to avoid the story that he underperformed. 10-11 allows for a narrative that he barely maintained a double digit lead. I think 12 is where people will say he won by a wide enough margin to keep hope alive.

And yeah, 20+ would probably allow for some good momentum on his behalf.

Anyone here live or have freinds or fam in NH? Who they voting for?

I'm from NH, my family lives there. They are voting for Sanders. That's like 5 to 6 votes. My friends I think are voting for Bernie, but I dont think they have a problem voting for Hillary. They would vote for Warren if she ran.

Me here as well, both people here voted Bern

Free everything for everyone is kinda catchy around here, lol.

I work in the insurance industry too and all I can say is BWAHAHA.

Not sure how you mean that, but I'certainly been formally indoctrinated by my rich clients over the years, lol. However, on the flip side, I also work at retail (both 10+ years), so I've certainly got a really good perspective from both sides. (blue collar vs. white collar)

How has your company performed on the market since the ACA was enacted? Genuinely curious.

Was the mass pullout of providers politically motivated or was there a market response?

Sorry to be ambiguous here, but both play a big factor. The Exchanges are a bad deal for insurers because premiums cannot be priced high enough, (even with subsidies from the government) to cover medical claims & administration costs. There's no money being made through bad risk. On the other side, the Exchanges did open new opportunities for insurers for increased membership/risk pool, however, it has not worked out for most carriers. It's going to get worse soon, imo.

Briefly/generally:

As it's currently constituted, yes.

Reform was needed, but it was not done correctly and fully. The band-aid approach instituted, rather than attacking/fixing the full issue has created more issues as seen by most major carriers pulling out of the exchanges.

For example, until "for-profit" hospitals and pharmaceutical companies are held accountable for their part of it, there will continue to be issues. Also, some of the changes (no pre-x, etc) have opened a ton of fraud/exploitation of Obama care from non US citizens. Non-profits playing Robin Hood do not help the situation, lol.

Tough to articulate in short form, but yeah, change was needed, we just didn't get it the right way.

What are your thoughts on single-payer?

It's always weird hearing these programs described as "free stuff." No one is unaware that taxes pay for them. No one talks about police officers or roads as "free stuff" even though it fits under that same banner. Everyone gets that they're publicly funded.

WMUR just said lines at one location are so long they're going to have to keep it open past 7 and they are almost out of democratic ballots so they're printing more.

Nope, he needs to win by 50 or its campaign ending.

He certainly needs to win by enough to get a clear delegate lead. If she ends up with as many as he does, or only wins 1-2 more, then his victory doesn't help him much. Sure, he might get a little bit of momentum, but there's no way he loses by anything less than double digits in South Carolina or Nevada. He has to keep things close or those delegate counts will end up lopsided before too long (especially since Hillary already has a huge superdelegate lead).

Sanders loses Iowa 49.9-49.6. Devastating loss. He should just pack up and go home now.

Sanders wins by 9. Win?

The idea is Sanders is predicted to lead Clinton by around 14 percent. His lead is expected. Should that lead end up being smaller than expected, that points towards Clinton being much stronger than expected and Sanders losing ground in a state he should be strong in. Heading into South Carolina, it's not the best place to be for Sanders.

This explanation assumes that you're not just being facetious.

Bernie's going to win New Hampshire. If I'm wrong, I quit GAF for 2 weeks. I lost the other bet, but I'm confident this time.

NH pleb reporting in. I voted for Bernie, most people I know are voting for Bernie. My Brazilian buddy who finally got citizenship in 2013 voted for his first time and voted Hillary.

I have a feeling Trump will gain the most support from repub voters just based on how much exposure/signage I saw of him around the state.

Good to hear turn-out is picking up. Most people must have waited until after work to go
A 600lb pig got out of its pen in Pelham, NH and wandered into the school voting line, lol.
Just looking at images now and the polls are packed! So glad I got done in 5 mins around 7am, lol.

Well yeah, you rob Peter to pay Paul, same as always. What he is proposing is not obtainable without gigantic taxation increases. Who will be eligible? What income brackets actually get to take advantage of the programs?
