Christie is just too fat to be president. It sucks, but the american people are shallow.

Unless you look like you're dying, I feel like these comments about how vain Americans are, are completely wrong. He wouldn't have been voted governor if people cared about his weight. He looks like 1/3 of Americans to boot btw.

lol Cruz lying out of his teeth saying he's gonna get the Reagan Democrats

He's not lying. He's *delusional*. He firmly believes everything he says. He believes he is 100% right and that God is on his side and that he will win, even if he has to cheat a little to get there, because that's okay to bend the rules a bit when you're 100% right and everything you are trying to do is fucking ordained by the Lord Jesus Christ.

Marcosoft Robio on CNN now.

"That will never happen again.

That will never happen again.

Let's dispel with this notion that it will happen again."

Sounds like it may be over for Christie. He has announced that he is going to NJ instead of SC to take a breath and figure out what to do now. I'll miss him in the debates. I got more out of him than most others. At least he added a bit more entertaining.

No. Canada is pragmatic as well. Why do you think the Libs won and the NDP got washed out despite all the scandals libs have?

muclair fucked up his entire campaign. that didn't help.

besides, like the other poster said, it was either all or nothing. i vote ndp first on an even ground but I'd much rather the liberals than the tories

Why do Sanders and Trumps wins not seem to be as significant as it would seem to an outsider? People in here talking as if its not to be taken seriously, which perhaps its not, I just dont know.

Dear Fox, have you tried turning it off and on again?

(they're having issues with their programming haha)

EDIT: "Gilmore? I don't even know who that person is."

Can someone link me to another stream? These guys suck.

So...whose idea was it to make Christie speak directly into the camera? I think watching a big sweaty man staring into people's eyes and telling them to be afraid of everything didn't quite work out.

im wondering the same thing but i imagine it has to do with the fact that a lot of people here support the opposition

The vote was going to get split thats why they voted liberal

And the Democratic vote is split... if Bernie wins the boomers better forget about the cold war and vote. And the DNC better not back stab him as well because the stakes are too high. Because they've done that before too.

Can you not see why people would not want Hillary rather than any of the Repubs then?

Because its one state out of 50, and both lost their first state (Iowa). Also, both were predicted in advance, so its not really a surprise.

Its obviously great for both of them, just in the bigger context its hard to tell what it means yet, more needs to play out.

Probably not a good idea to watch any news stations until the next state. I can only imagine who is going to dominate the airwaves, like usual.

Democrats
Voting percentage reported 63%

Bernie Sanders 59%
Hillary Clinton 39%

Republicans
Voting percentage reported 61%

Donald Trump 34%
Marco Rubio 10%
John Kasich 16%
Ted Cruz 12%
Jeb (John E. Bush) 11%
Chris Christie 8%
Carly Fiorina 4%
Ben Carson 2%

I think we're near the final percentages.

The GoP debates were entertaining with everyone around (Rand, Fiorina). Best reality TV had to offer. When Carson drops, these will just stop being as funny as they were.

Probably because that was the expectation. Sanders is going to have to win some of these other states where he's currently behind in the polls. He can do it though. He's come from pretty much nothing.

The guy has already repeatedly told his donors that his strategy is to engage his party's ultraconservative wing because being a moderate is a failing strategy for the Republicans. He tells them that this ultraconservative wing stays home to vote whenever they nominate a moderate.

That's a strategy that completely goes against the idea of appealing to Reagan Democrats.
